From what I can gather from the court evidence, Craig was shooting BEFORE Bente

ley even said the words "Let him have it". Therefore, Bentley never really influenced Craig to shoot a police officer, I think if Bentley even had not said "Let him have it" Craig would have murdered a police officer that night, regardless.

If people do their research, it is impossible for Craig to have killed PC miles in reality. The balistics report said that he could not have fired the calibre bullet that killed Miles and that as he had cut his barrel down to make it pocket size, he would not have been able to aim his gun to any degree of accuracy. Capital punishmenet should not be reintrduced into the Uk i think, but the process of maybe less servere capital punishment such as the cane should be thought about along with prison

@Newman11242 no i think that people should be executed if they commit an obvious crime but then taking into consideration your comment perhaps it should be made so that if the evidence is hazy no execution may be carried out eg more than 1 suspect and just picking 1 to die is wrong

craig was obviously guilty and did all of the wrong things which derek was accused of shooting a policeman and wounding another then trying to escape justice where as all that derek did wrong was tresspasing which does not carry the death penalty even in the 50's it is just because the police wanted an execution because one of their own was killed and i understand that and would have supported them in trying to get christopher craig hung but because he was a minor continued next post
