I never liked the "Little Drummer Boy" song until I heard Neil play it here. Now I could listen to him play it all day long. :) Just beautiful. Playing the notes of a song is one thing; the real skill lies in the much more subtle technique/style/execution. Only the world's very best guitar players can ever actually attain this sound that Neil gets here; he's a true virtouso & master. Check out his version of Satriani's "Friends" (on YouTube too), as well as Neil's CD's which are also amazing.
@786marauder Lots of famous guitarists like Les Paul, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, etc. uses expensive guitars and makes music out of it, but using a guitar made by a cheap guitar brand (Cort) and making grand musics out of it? That's different; Neil Zaza is the exceptionally good guitarists I know.

@jhinthepen sorry and pardon me!!, yup agreed with you,may b i just watched 1 or 2 of his video but after i watched a few of his video, mmmmm he's really not that bad, sorry for that buddy, :-)
I cannot believe some of the comments here... vile, insincere kitsch... I guess this is what Kenny G fans listen to when they're feeling a little raunchy.
man, this song seems like it's in my skill range. I'd love to learn it in time for Christmas so ill have it in time for my school's concert. absolutely beautiful song, i wish i knew what amp effects he uses...
You'll need some kind of disto effect to play this man xD but yes, add reverb and delay plus a wah. Just remember to put down the gain and kill some of your volume with the knob on your guitar. BTW don't use the wildest of your distortions xD
yeah that's great advice. by doing this you'll sound just like neil and his $5,000 amp not to mention supporting equipment, musical knowledge and talent.
he did say "man, this song seems like it's in my skill range." you've got the skill-issue covered. Getting a decent guitar is just part of your job as a guitar-dude. Err, when it comes to amps, ofc they matter a lot for your LIVE-sound. But for home use they actually don't. You don't need the exact sound to play a song, aye? Else you'd either be a millionaire - or USED to be one. Also I think he didnt want to sound EXACTLY like Neil, just roughly.
