Some 9v has smaller x6 1.5v cells inside.

Those are 4 DD size batteries. Each one is 1.5 Volts. Voltage adds up, so 4 x 1.5V = 6 Volts.

no, they are dry cell batteries so they won't leak anything. They have a chemical powder in the center that reacts with the casing that provide stimulation of electrons, it is rather complex and hard to describe but there is no acid.

I actually doubt any of them have 32 AA cells in them. Those cells you pulled outta there are F cells and are 1.5 x the length of a D cell at the same voltage & generally the same amperage.

The word 'battery' actually refers to something which is combined from several identical elements (like artillery battery). A 6V battery contains 4 identical cells - that's why it's called a battery.
