Do I have to create a backup save in order to play Pearl using Pokesav? And also,do I have to download NO$gba to VBA in order to play using Pokesav? Please.........I really hope you can answer my question...

the code i put in my AR is showing up on my computer, but when i put it on my DS it doesnt show up...

I saved the file and whatever and i dragged the file into the Nintendo DS part of th AR Code manager, then after it writed to my AR it didnt recognise my game. I still have the old codes and ive tried copying the code from a text document into a new cheat, but it either doesent recognise the code or it wont work in game. Help?
