  • cancellara didnt attack, boonen just couldnt keep up

  • my god, 20%....

  • Canc hit 1450W at some point of this ride... must have been when dropping boonen like a rock. Unbelievable.

  • fabian is not neccesarily better than boonen on the climbs or cobble, imfact they are about the same but its fabians ability to hurt himself for a long time and do it powerfully that gives him the edge over boonen!

  • Cancellara is a great man to have on a Tour team, but i think Tony Martin will be the new Cancellara.

  • who won?

  • lol people who believe that this is normal are kinda crazy^^ Everyone in the circuit knows who Cancellara really is....but theres always the omerta....

  • 3:27 the camera guy doesn't realize how far ahead he is already!

  • 2:54- "Cancellara is over the 'tup'"?!!!

  • Cancellara composure win.

  • look at Cancellara, he is so awesome. fast pedaling and smart tactic !

  • cancellara does have incredible power, but that alone didn't create the gap on the muur. it was technique.

look at 2:33 on the clip as they come around the corner at beginning of the steepest section. look at the difference in cadence between the 2 riders . boonen is in a bigger gear. cancellara has chosen the perfect gear and accelerates SEATED with much less effort.

now look @ 2:43 in the clip.

as boonen powers to keep up, he veers to the left and off the edge of the road, race over!

  • @foku2b well said. An impressive example of perfect control, awesome race savvy and power. He will take some beating tomorrow.

  • An incredible show by Cancellara. When the helicopter picks him up he's so far ahead of Boonen that it is just over. Can't wait for the 2011 race.

  • @alioninthedesert only 5 more days to go :) Go Cancellara!

  • die hollandse commentatoren kunnen er niets van

  • i'm from belgium but i realllyyy prefer cancellara!!!

  • He makes cycling uphill look so easy.

  • you canot ride cobblestones whilst not on the saddle , you would slip , so please stop going on about the electric bike !

  • cancellara the cheater, forever and ever

  • An absolutely awesome display by Cancellara. When he just lays the power down like that there is just no stopping him.

  • Cancellara's detractors fail to remember that Boonen is no climbing specialist either. Fabian timed this one perfectly. Put on serious pace at the bottom of the climb. Then lets Tom lead for a bit to recover. When the hill gets to the steepest bit, he goes.

He used great strategy at PR too. Waited for Tom to be at the back. Then stomped on it. The other riders wouldn't chase probably because they wanted Boonen to. Boonen was pissed at the other riders, but threw no accusations at Fabian. Why?

  • @hagenar It was very bad idea to have a Snickers at that particular moment in Paris-Roubaix

  • @AlexMusic09 If you watch the video boonen hits the wall at approximately 2:42 . Might also explain the 15 metres in 3 seconds.

  • it is impossible to put that much power on a climb like this... Boonen (who was World Champion...) looked like a club rider. Fabian's a cheater

  • We'll know if Cancellarra cheated on Tour of Flanders 2011.

  • @daFranch1se69 It's a short steep power climb, Fabian is the most powerful rider in the world, so it does not come as a shock that he can lay the power down and drop Boonen. Cancellara is a considerably better climber than Boonen, he made it over all the big climbs to win San Remo, he held on over all the big climbs to win the Tour de Suisse and don't forget his performance in the worlds where he actually went on the attack up the climb on course.

    Get your facts right.

  • @FFXIHeat

Meh, winning Milan-San Remo ain't that special. Sure it's called a monument, but in the end it's just a long flat stage that usually end in a bunch sprint. Sometimes a puncheur wins, but it's pretty hard to do(2008 Milan-San Remo had a different final then other editions by the way).

Cancellara is not a climber. Just like Philippe Gilbert is not a climber. Just amazing puncheurs. With Philippe being the best puncheur in the current peloton.

  • @soulripper31 Yeh never said he was a climber jus said he climbs better than Boonen >_> but what do you mean MSR isn't that special O_o it's the queen of the classics, the longest of them all and there are some tough climbs in there Cipressa La Redoute Poggio (I think) I think to name a few, it's just with the long flat run in the sprinters can get back on!

  • @FFXIHeat

The queen? Paris-Roubaix is the queen of the classics. They call it la Reine for a reason you know. Which means queen. And the Ronde, Luik-Bastenaken-Luik and Giro di Lombardia are also more prestigious to win than Milan-San Remo. Might me the longest, but it's an easy classic compared to the 4 I just named.

  • @soulripper31 And Cancellara has beaten everyone to win them aswell!!! Just wait until he wins Lombardia next :O

  • @FFXIHeat

Oh, I'm not trying to downplay Cancellara here :P He's a great great cyclist. But I'm Belgian, so I'd rather see a Belgian cyclist win :p

Philippe Gilbert will be a hard one to beat at Lombardia though ;o

  • @FFXIHeat i dissagree with everything you say,absolutely everything

  • Boonen what in the world was you thinking Sitting on the wheel of Spartacus No way he's gone

  • The part where Canc attacks is so steep, that it's way better to stay in the saddle !

Boonen made a big mistake, your wheel starts to dance when it's that steep and you lose speed. Totally normal what Canc is doing !

  • @kikkers123 I am not one of those, claiming he used a motor, but look at all the other riders: nobody stayed in the saddle in that section. I think a motor is unlikely but it sure looks sick how he pedals up there as if it was flat.

  • @Setarkos91 I'm from Belgium, I live 20 kilometers from the Muur and I have ridden it 100 times. Where Canc attacks, you can give more power if you stay in the saddle, because your wheel stays on the ground in that section.

  • @kikkers123 So all the other Belgian Professionals (eg. Glibert, Boonen) who ride this race to win and certainly not the first time are stupid?

  • @Setarkos91 WTF are you saying? If your legs feel sore, you don't stay in the saddle on that part of the Muur, because otherwise you are standing still.

It's just a known fact you can give more power there on the cobbles when you sit in your saddle. So i don't know why you write your comment, it makes no sense.

  • @kikkers123 are you a retard? i don't know WHERE you get it from, but sitting down is NOT an advantage while riding uphill. standing up allows you to produce more power. THAT is a fact. more power while sitting, give me a break... shame on you

  • @devidia Are you a retard?! It's on cobblestones, you idiot, and when you don't stay in the saddle, your wheel slips. It's something called grip. So please, don't start to talk to people who ride the Muur 100 times in a year, they usually know better than you. Idiot..

  • @kikkers123 oh yeah, that right, thats why every great cobble rider (museeuw, van petegem, boonen, ballan, hoste, ...) stood up straight and NOT sitting down...

  • Comment removed

  • The Great Spartacus! If somebody accuses him then shut the fuck up cause Boonen has also been caught for drugs (cocaïne) Cancellara maybe cheats but you can't denie that the others don't. Bernard Kohl 3rd on the TDF 2008 says that he was doped when he was AMATEUR. I think that everybody is doped. And finally there was a guy who worked in a lab said that if people knew what happens in there nobody will ever watch sports !

  • if you watch the earlier sections of climb, he's out of the saddle, and bouncing his shoulders like Boonen... suddenly on the hardest section, pulling away while sitting and easy peddling. No Way! Look later, at how he looks down at his own crank area. What's he looking at, his gear choice? Unlikely for a pro of his rank....

  • did u see his right hand he when he broke away from the other guy , he looks like he presses a button, and ino that the bikes whit moters have a buttun coz ive watched a video about it, butt other then that cancellara is like the best rider

  • @seano185 pfff , he s changing gear , if you knew anything about bikes , you would know that the gear stick is just behind the break so thats where the "pressing" comes from

  • @CarveWaysk8team

    absolutely correct.

  • when you go down hill,, get the energie,,less braking

en up hill or when it's flat,, take the energie

motor can also be just to make energie

but still 40 watt ..where do you put the battery,,

or what is the battery,,the frame.whahaha

    battery's to power a 40watt motor,,the motor,,and the bike

and make it 7kg,, and make it look like a normaal bike WHAT DO YOU THINK..??

  • No motors here lol. Just pure power

  • Va come una moto! :D:D:D:D

  • Cancellara : a commercial for Eveready batteries?

  • In 3'52'' you can hear the sound of the engine of his doped bike. Ups :-(

  • @Gavarresboy

u r a genius, so the engine is so well hide that you can hear it even in TV. Come back to see F1 please!

  • @Gavarresboy

Great job pwning yourself. That sound comes from the frigging motorbike that had the camera crew on it.

Cancellara's bike from TdF prologue was subjected to X-ray's right after he finished it.Guess what? They didn't find anything. So go away with your hatred comments.

How come no one said shit when LA was winning 7 tours in a row?

  • @Pulsar3nw We did say shit when LA was winning, and more recent analysis from his pee (old ones) proved he was doped. Sadly the law is made in a way that let him go away with it... but that doesn't change what we all know ;)

  • Cheater.

  • @jacobbbbbbbbbb Lol ouvre tes yeux!!

  • Has his bike an internal electrical engine? I have readen about this in other video

  • @davest09 No, THE MACHINE IS HIM !!

  • @VinceFox21: whatever dude ...

  • well we all know how he did it now ...

  • @olcapolca yeah... and we dont how they made your brain

  • Cancellara has been proven to be using a little battery powered electric motor in his seat tube connecting to his bottom bracket to help with assisted pedaling. At 2:36-2:37 notice his right hand, screen left. People say that is his hand engaging the motor. Youtube: "Paris-Roubaix 2010 - Cancellara attacks " and look at 2:11 in that video. same thing.

  • @Craigvr look son a noob, learn about cycling before speaking, shifting gear is not a crime

  • Cancellara unleashed his engine :)

  • cancellara got a electro motorized bike noobs u guys actually think he's that good epic

guess u never actually did a race

  • boonen was in too high of a gear. i think cancellara had a better cadence and that was what made the difference on the climb...

  • I just live how boonen tries his best to keep up while cancellara is just sitting down

  • That is a fcuking awesome attack.

  • Damn. Sitting.

  • i can't believe the power he used on the attack !

  • He has a turbo boost on , on that climb attack>>

  • SO HAWT!!!!

  • He shown 600 watts on that climb attack>>

  • EXCELENTE

  • Cancellara brutal power!!!

  • FREIGHT TRAIN BABY!

  • FREIGHT TRAIN BABY!

  • Comment removed

  • sick! impressive as hell

  • He rode the last part like an ITT. No one is catching Spartacus

  • @MTOTOwaNYAYO no ones catching spatacus cause no one else has a motor

  • look at his hand when he brakes away

  • @seano185 like shifting into a higher gear?? Oh no it's a 300 hp motor! Wow how did they fit that into the frame?? lol

  • @FreeMTrider INO HOW THERES A VID ON YOU TUBE TYPE IN FABIAN CANCELLARA MOTER AND CLICK THE FIRST ONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • About 2:40 you can actually see the moment when Boonin remembererd he doesn't ride a specialized anymore. GO FAB!!

  • About 2:40 you can actually see the moment when Boonin remembererd he doesn't ride a specialized anymore. GO FAB!!

  • The most impressive thing is how far he gets away so quickly - just after the attack the camera stays on Tom for a bit....then it switches to helicopter and pans across looking for how Fabu is up the road....and it keeps panning and panning and panning

  • Should be an awesome Paris-Roubaix!!

  • Cannonanta!!!

  • legendary!

    cheers for the upload!

  • It was scary to see how quickly Spartacus gapped Boonen. That's how you win a bike race, alone!

  • 2:35 is the money shot. Game over. So smooth, so powerful, what a legend!
