Don't doubt him ,He used to run the 400m. He never used to run the 100m.. He only started running the 100m in 08 in Beijing and he started training for that 2 months before the games.His specialty was the 400m and 200m so if you don't know anything about his track and field history i don't think your permitted to make a contribution and put him down.

He got 45.86 ....world record is 43.18 currently held by Michael Johnson .That's not far away from the record testeras.

Usain Bolt hasnt ran the 400m in more than 2years. 45.86secs is great. Last time he ran 400m's was in his LAST Carifta, and he holds the record, now at the CAC Games it will be a scene to watch.

Usain ran about 20.10s (+ or - 0.20s) in his 200m heats in the 2008 Olympics and the 2009 World Champs, but when he ran the finals in those events, he did it in 19.30s and 19.19s respectively. Notice the patterns in Usain's races, he never runs more than he needs to win, unless he is running for a championship or he is told to do so by his coach. So, without any competition in the 400m race, he did was necessary to win.

@testeras seeing that this is his first 400m of the season, he stopped/slowed down several meters before the finish line out of his own will (if you saw the race), is early in his training and had no competition... I'd say he did pretty well. He's a world class sprinter and world record holder of both the 100m and 200m; you cannot say that he doesn't have the ability with his track record.
