jacksonville is a small town and not a city. the closest thing they have to the projects is sandy run. it's gangsta now? compared to where? never heard of jacksonville on the national news for being anything but in the shadow of camp lejune. i went back there in "02" and it was still slow and dead!! everything closed early, no good public transportation and the mosquitoes ate my ass up. couldnt wait to get back to n.y.. jacksonville is a quiet town you live in when you retire .
