you can get injured, thr is a new schedule every year, also usually the team u signed wit will give u another contract but u can negotiate wit them....i never declined thr offer so i idk what happens.It is really good addition but u cant train ur pitching so its hard to make a pitcher, way easier to make a batter since u can train them almost every week.Also when you join spring training ur stats dont decrease after a month so u can save ur points. and use it in regular season.

Errrrr...... So Pissed! My Brother(little one) and I both have separate seasons for MLB 09 The Show and last night he saved over mine by mistake and I was so angry. I was having such a great time playing as the Rays and I was over 20 games into the season and I had 3 players on my team that were in first place for the All-Star Race(Pat Burrell, Carlos Pena, and Joe Nelson). Everything is down the toilet now =(

yes, but you can change the setting in My Sliders so that it makes it almost impossible. (Also, if you have it saved, you can just exit the career and then go back t when you had last saved before the injury.)

i think it's really stupid that they don't have the training things like batting practice, in road to the show in the ps2 game. i also hate the advancement goals!! i tried playing as a 1st baseman, and most of my goals had me bunting, instead of working on things that matter like contact and power!!

just keep makin your goals. i think im the only person here to make it to the bigs in my first year. i was drafted by the yanks, trade to the dodgers and was in AAA and then was traded to the Brewers and was a september call up. i played like 20 games and had a two homerun game in my debut against the giants. But at the end of the season, i was put in AA starter so i was pissed, but i was making 760,000 in one year so.... i hope this helps :)
