i got it from my brother who wrecked the fuck out of it after he inherited it from my grandfather and i am in the process of repairing it. still a loooong ways to go.

wut kind of trans u got n it a got a 350 4 bolt main dnt really now about motors 2 well but it got a 700r4 on it n a i think 293 cam n it i think thats rite iz that 700r4 good 4 it its kinda fast but nt fast enuff it burn rubber good can u give me sum good ideas on making it faster
(i am kryp7ik) i have a turbo 350 with a street/strip shift kit with a B&M Z-Gate shifter. 700r4 is a good tranny it has OD unlike mine. sometimes i wish i had OD but the TH350 is faithful on the strip.
more horsepower there are tons of things you can do. all factors play into speed acceleration (maybe new carb intake manifold) removing things like A/C, power steering, manual fan, adding headers, dual exhaust, bigger cam, posi/limited slip differential with 3.43 or higher gears.
my truck it sounds good it had a holley carb on it but da choke wuz messed up on it it wuz faster then but i took it off n put a bullshit carter quad pro 4bbl carb on there its big but i dnt like it its slower but at that time that wuz da only carb my partner had at da time 4 the low but da rear end both wheels spin every now & then mostly just one spin wuts up wit dat i wnt both 2 spin at all times my partner wuz telling me i can take it 2 a shop n get sumthing welded 2gether iz that a gd idea
yea i had a carter quadrajet on mine and upgraded to a edlebrock performer 4bbl and saw a huge difference in launch and acceleration speed/times. if you want both wheels to spin at all times i suggest investing in a positrac/locker differential I HIGHLY SUGGEST DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GET ANYTHING WELDED TOGETHER unless of course you plan on replacing your rearend in a couple days. it will fail and break. i know someone that did that and made 2 passes on the strip then it broke. you'll regret it.

no i used the factory crossmember. they guy that did the exhaust for me just "squeezed" the driver side pipe just a bit for ground clearance but i would highly recommend spending the extra cash and getting a double hump crossmember. its worth it.

i have the same tach and mine is just kinda poked into the corner of the dash between the wind sheild cause i couldnt get it to stand up hah
