Our import cars also use more american pars than our american cars. So in reality, its good that they keep buying "imports" becuase they're being made right here in america by american ppl.

The Taurus was revolutionary for the 80's. Such a sleek, contemporary shape. All the comfort and features you could want. But it was obvious they were trying to make the

Taurus seem European. But when you drive one you're reminded how very American they are. Bouncy ride, over-boosted numb steering, mushy brakes. It was a nice car in general nontheless. Wish reliability had been a million times better though.

What are you talking about? The Taurus and 5000 look absolutely nothing alike. The 5000 and Eagle Premier on the other hand.

The overall body shape. Look at the taper down the sides of each car. The 5000 had a ridiculously low drag coefficient, just 0.30 cD. Flush mounted windows, small outside mirrors, and a small frontal area are all cues picked up by the Taurus along with the tapered lines.

It's not the first time Ford had borrowed something from Audi. Why do you think they called their 80s Mustang a Fox Body? The Audi Fox and it's unibody construction, of course.

The new SHO is a farce, a desperate pull from everything Ford has to gain its audience back. It's sad to see how over-powered the engine is, (which from what I understand won't have the Yamaha stamp, but will be twin turbo). Considering how percieveably heavy the car is going to be, coupled with the fact that Ford sucks at engineering performance grade cars (case in point, the Cobra GT500), it is plausible to suspect the new SHO is going to be unimpressive.
