Jarvis Cocker played this on a radio show once which is why I sought it out. The first track is surprisingly psychedelic but somehow works. Also ahead of his time setting poetry to music like John Cooper Clarke and Linton Kwesi Johnson.
I love it! Sgt Pepper meets The Bonzo Dog Do Dah Band. Sad really because it points to an England long gone. Nostalgic clap trap from me there, the past was never ideal, sometimes it feels like it might've been though... *sighs*
