AVATAR is extremely powerful. Besides the emotional moments of the death of the tree, the invasion of the village, and neytiris despair, the movie also transform the viewers perspective of our army men. I know that in that movie theater every soul hated the American army, and that my friend is powerful. People of color who have suffered the mistreatment of a white society can sympathize with the lesson of the movie. Thank you Mr. Cameron.

dude.. why? avatar was shit. there was no story to it. its just a bunch of special effects. the reason it made so much money is cause its been made out to be great. but really its just a kids movie. kinda like twilight

I gotta say, this was a good movie. I didn't go because of the posters or marketing. I went because some friends saw it and said it was good. Been twice now.
Occasionally, something mass-hyped fulfills it's expectations. Avatar is such a film. As I read elsewhere, "Avatar is the Lebron James on films."
