That was the time where the only choice to make more power was to have a bigger engine or oh wait sry I forgot in some countrys it's still like that xD, still nice car there!
Chris gave me the origional exhaust stubs off this . the horizontal ones are now uplighters which still smoke when warm and the other 2 angled stubs are on my utility room wall
@Dauntless244 The carbs' enrichment devices can be operated individually giving flames at will and wherever. Without the chokes on , sadly very few flames.
so evocative..the images this huge beast of a car conjures up are just legendary...forget round a track(apart from Brooklands famous banked bits), off the start line at Shelsley and up the hill its an immense sight and sound...it conquers most except maybe the BRM V16 for sheer presence!

Looks like she's a bit lean on the left bank. Still got 16 good litres to play with. Awesome!

Jesus. H. CHRIST. That thing is so ridiculous it makes a 426 Hemi look sensible, yet I want to build one. Is there a cure for this disease?

@UFO29
There is no cure for wanting to build a insanely large-engined car. I've also got it bad.

So why is it shooting flames from only one bank of cylinders? Tuning issues?
