ya this is also to zackolot- mario party dosnt have wifi u can only be next to someone and start a game and u have to be in a certain range to play with them..
hmmmmmmm...... it still doesnt work multiplayer. i have updated it thanks to ur guide but for sum reason it jst wont work. is it the ROM i have downloaded? do u have any ideas on how to fix this problem?

2)there is a list of "kernal" downloads the top one should be v1.14 kernal
3)click it and download the english one on the next page it opens
4)when its downloaded you should have some files and folders named "system" and "moonshl" copy ALL of that into your micro SD card and replace the old files.
5)that has now updated your firmware put your micro SD card back in your R4 n try it.
wel i tried but then my ds said summim lyk " this game folder is not included" i dont no y and now my r4 wont work but i jst had 2 copy another r4 ds files on so now i definitely need a tutorial. thanks for all ur time and effort but plz try ur best 2 make 1 ;D!=

Search "R4 DS" on google and the first link will be the official R4 website gi there and on there goto downloads and there will be a list of updates for the DS.
those are the firmware updates people keep refering too.

i actually have the same exact problem exept that the game does go through but, while playing the game, after like turn 3, the game gets the error message. Why is that?
If anyone is watching this video and use the Rom version of mario party DS on R4 or M3 and have experienced the same problem. iv resolved it by updating the firmware on my R4/M3 make sure you have the latest updates on there respective official sites!

Which Flash-Cart do you have? With my R4 I had the same problem, but with other games, though. But I have a CycloDS, and the problem is gone...

firmware is the latest software update. You just go to the r4 ds and download the Kernel, then u just drog those downloads to ur sd card.
