Well, after his first season with the Flyers, Briere totaled 31 goals, 41 assists, for 72 points. Those are respectable numbers, given that he did better than Drury and Gomez in New York. However, his minus 22 is cause for concern, since he was a plus 17. Part of the reason comes from the Flyers' inconsistent defense and bad clearing attempts. I think alot of people expected him to get over 100 points this season. But with Briere, he comes at a price. He needs a sniper flanking him.

you must be excited that Teemu Selane is back now...the ducks will definitely be formidable with him and Scott Niedermayer back, but im not sure if they'll make it out of the West...Detroit looks too strong right now, and the ducks will have to deal with Calgary, San Jose, or Dallas within the first two rounds and any of those teams seem capable of taking the ducks to 7 games each series.
