The reputation of the United States as a bully who gets involved with weaker, smaller countries or ignores them as we please. They make sociopolitical commentary using humorous or unusual references. People don't get DR because they don't want to have to analyze the lyrics, they want it all to be spelled out for them. Take a second to think, it actually has more "meaning" than most of the shit out there.

@Steadno I listen to and love Shabazz Palaces. Is Chappelle's Show not worth it because there's social commentary embedded in crude, often offensive humor? I would argue not. These guys find a way to comment on our society in a creative and hilarious way, that should be appreciated. This is one of their much goofier songs. There are songs when they rap, relatively straight up (at least for them), and they are pretty damn good at it.
