i have done this before its pretty easy, we used the little tubes of CO2 that are used in paintball and bb-gun pistols. punture a little hole in it where the top is and drop it in a 2 liter seal it and run lol

Did you use solid Co2 (Dry Ice)? Dry ice bombs are easy; I normally use warm water instead of Pepsi though. You can handle dry ice with your bare hands for a few seconds; just don't let it stick to your skin.

Anyone trying this experiment be very very careful. Wear eye protection and do not attempt to pick up a loaded bottle. The plastic bottles are known to take out eyes and cause other serious injury. Never underestimate how fast a bottle will explode, as it could have unseen weaknesses.
