@kejiaaa It uses tape. Yes, I edit this video, color correction, etc, etc. And the HV30 is about $500-600. google it.

uhm..did you do that strobe-like effect using keyframes or its some kind of preset?

It's a film effect, but taking out the scratches, grain, tint, jitter, etc. and adjusting the flicker to a calmer setting.

Also, some of the flicker is done manually with my hands moving in the light.

Well, the point of the film I'm making is to not kill bugs. This is just test footage for a short I'm making this weekend about a gardener learning a lesson when she demands that the aphids on her rosebush be sprayed.
