Brianna Sage and Steve Jones (Sex Pistols) were also in on the making of this song... It was at a Fool's Banquet gathering consisting of multiple artists (Hanson Hosted Event) that this song was written.
As I've said in a previous comment I asked Zac personally and he said he thought the girls name was Brianna Sage- then I also asked Brianna Sage to confirm his hunch.
Brianna Sage herself told me this is her. She sings on this and the "You don't know me" song.
I confirmed this fact with both Zac and Brianna Sage herself. I think they would know- especially Brianna- she is the one who sang it and I think she would know for sure if she did it or not.
Brianna told me that they had a gathering of musicians and she worked with the guys... that's when they created the two songs.
There is no question that it's her.
Brianna Sage sang with Hanson on "It's Alright, It's Okay" AND "You Don't Know Me" end of story.
I asked Zac who sang with them in this song on the female vocals and he said "I believe her name was Brianna Sage, I feel so bad I can't remember fully, I only met her the one time."
Since he wasn't positive I went to Brianna Sage and asked her for myself...
Apparently she did this song with them AND "You don't know me" with them. Just to clarify.
I think you're right it was Michelle Branch, she did the This Time Around backup vocals I think, or maybe it was Underneath, but this is definitely her, the only one Emma Daumas does is Someone I think it's called!!
Definately not Emma. Though I can't say if it's Michelle Branch or not cause I dont really know her, I can tell it's not Emma Daumas. She only sang Someone with them ;)
I love the music they make as Fools'Banquet! It seems cool to make music just for fun with friends!

No its Emma Daumas, a famous pop french singer..look her up.
Michelle Branch only did one song and that was "Deeper" as backup vocals.
