Hello borbottante ! This tank looks different today, nearly 3 years later; The fishes living in this tank at these times didn't used to eat plants too much.
Anyway I owned other planted tanks that can offer new plants "to replace" (to substitute).... it means a lot of regular work !!...
But anyway the plant named "Microsorium pteropus" is not easy to eat; even by the Malawi cichlids you can see within this short video.
Hello! First: i'm french = sorry for my bad english! Thanks for the words "Beautiful tank ". And yes the plants are real. Within this 500 litres, i maintain (hold?) Malawi fishes (overall haplos) that don't destroy plants. Noy enterily! just a little...extremities...Overall the plants are Microsorium pteropus and Hygrophila natans (near Hygrophila corymbosa)
