The economic sanctions imposed on them have worsened their economic malaise and perpetuated poverty, starvation, and anger against Mugabe and his administration. The same tactic was used against Cuba, whose leaders were blamed for its failure when it actuality the entire reason behind it failing behind was the US' policy of sanction and regime change.

Hong Kong, Macau, the Philippines, Singapore, Australia, Canada, the United States, Brazil, Argentina, New Zealand, much of the Caribbean, et cetera, appear not to have suffered the same fate; quite the opposite actually.

My older brother has, and he always said it was the most beautiful place on the planet -- and this was during the civil war! Mugabe is a racist that should never be in power he even killed his own people , I've lived in the Belgian Congo it was well organized with health care for it's "people" and an impressive airline called SABENA that even trained blacks to clean the toilets talk about affirmative action at work.
