  • How many locomotives go through Maricopa per day or hour? also what railway companies? only UP?

  • depleted uranium?

  • @9DragonMaster Domesticated power unit

  • appears to be what most people know as ES44AC on the point with SD70M, and an SD70M with another ES44AC on the rear. UP calls these GEs C45ACCTEs

  • They are either ES44AC's or AC45ACCTE's.

  • that's one long ass train

  • I find this guy going 70MPH

  • Your "wow" at the end when the 2 helper units fly by is what I always think/say when I see the same thing. Here in the southeast, helper unit are rare, but when I see one I am always "wowed" myself. Good camera location! Excellent work!

  • Dang hard core approach shot!!! Dude the signal box thing at 25 secs looks like it has a freaking huge bullet hole in it.

  • nice, i think those were GEVOs

  • 1 gevo (es44ac) at the beginning (75mph)

  • Also, 1 SD60M

    DPU: 2 es44acs

  • GEVO at 70mph

  • Beautiful DPU's.

  • Excellent shot yet again, did you catch the Chief's while you were down in Flagstaff, or for that matter any Amtrak action while you were down in that area? Thanks.
