  • ok...I am going to try this at home this weekend.....my wife is sold on Rudys hideaway lobster out here in sacramento.....or her dads lobster(steamed then broiled) .....but she says 1 tail is never enough....so.....gettin' 3- 6 ouncers and see if I can top her dad and Rudys! thanks

  • Great video, easy to follow. Thanks for sharing, can't wait to try. Was there ever a burhops location up north in Chicago?

  • Great video, my mouth is watering!

  • Thanks a bunch for that demonstration sir! I've been wanting to cook LT's for awhile but wasn't sure the proper way to cook and present them. Well now I know. Thanks again! :-)

  • Thank you so much! My husband & I made this for my birthday and it was so simple to make yet so delicious! It's like what chefs say, the more simple you can make your lobster the better it tastes because the lobster is so flavorfull already.

  • @juameansgreen No problem, I appreciate the review.

  • thank you!!!!

  • Hey, great vid! That's the best, traditional, Red Lobster style big bugs that we all know and love! I have I question. I work at a really upscale restaurant. The food is always great, and they spare no cost. I saw a delivery of lobster come in, and could nt wait to try some of the finished product. Finally got the chance, yet the tail had been split, cooked, but it had a huge vein in it like a huge shrimp. I was disgusted / heart broken. Do most lobster tail have a vein? why didnt they devein?

  • Oh ya baby, head to toe, ohhh love it when you do that.

I swear this was lobster porn, with that music and all

  • o yeah thats how its done the rite way you rock !

  • This is such a great instructional video. It didn't leave out any steps like timing or size like some of the other videos. Thanks.

  • Thanks so much! Just picked up a tail for myself on special and used your recipe (except that I substituted Old Bay seasoning for the paprika, since I didn't have that). It was to DIE for!

  • @Seasass Old Bay is a great substitute!

  • Thanks for this great tutorial! Making some lobster tonight for the New Year.

  • Just made my first ever lobster tails after viewing this video...they turned out great! Thanks!

  • lobster porno music

  • @thecanadianvandal

You do have to rub the tail down with oil. The music seems appropriate.

  • @BurhopsSeafood update: I made this for new years eve! Made a paste of butter/olive oil/parsley/minced garlic/pepper and rubbed down the tail on all sides. It was so easy and so good. Thanks! Don't be intimated people. I'm 23 and rarely cook, if I can do it so can you...

  • my lobster tails were only 6oz but they only cost 6$ - Safeway had a special going on.

Going to check out his other seafood videos and see what else I can learn how to cook! Beats whataburger and taco bell :)

  • I am doing this right now!

    Thanks for the help.

  • Thank You.....I made lobster tails for the first time to celebrates a friends birthday and I followed this video to a "T" and my lobster turned out fantastic! It was a big hit!

  • Very Helpfull,

  • Thank you!!! This is the most helpful lobster video i found online

  • Very good video. This looks very simple and really tasty!

  • Great video! Thanks.

  • what size are the lobster tails used ?

    they look large?

  • The tails in the video are 10 oz. each. They are certainly a big portion but remember that you lose some weight to the shell. Each 10 oz. tail yields around 8 oz of meat. Cooking times are listed on the video from 3:58-4:08. Hope yours turn out great!

  • @SuperAlana1 How can a lobster tail be too large. I mean really.....you know your there with your fork digging into the tail for those last morsels of lobster stuck in the ends of the tail, wishing there was more lobster to eat right?. There is no such thing as a lobster tail being too big. ;-)

  • kustom-

When you take out the tails to do the broiling step, turn your oven up from 375 to the highest setting it has. Then put the butter on and stick the tails back in for three minutes. Shouldn't be a big deal!-Burhop's

  • what if I don't have a broiler in my oven?

  • Now I know what I did wrong. I didn't pull the meat out of the shell. Just cut the lobster shell, and left the meat inside. Duh!

  • I followed the instructions in your video. Came out perfect. I had a 10 oz fillet mignon wrapped in bacon with it. Served with dinner fries. My local market is selling lobster tails for 6 bucks. I'm gonna continue to eat like a king. Thanks for the info.

  • @ratman506 Jeez, 6 bucks a piece? We sell them at my work for $4...but I get them free.

  • "A picture is worth a thousand words"...thanks for taking the time to make this helpful video!

  • Thanks for the help! This was the star of Christmas Eve Dinner!

  • Thank you, just what I was looking for... a simple recipe. Now, off to the kitchen!

  • A very comprehensive, and informative video! Well done!
