I remember when they first switched the theme songs I was like o_0 da frick? But now I think it fits the show well. It has an element of wonder and excitement that fits the direction the show is going in. I think it still has an element of mystery to it too. Not the dark, scary mystery like the first theme song. It's like you've discovered something really amazing, but there's still so much you've yet to understand about it yet. Can't wait for season 4. Wonder if they'll change it again.
The uploader of the video and I have exchanged some comments, and sorry, but neither of us knows the title, only that the song was made by Andrew Lockington, who is the composer for the show Sanctuary itself. So it's an Original Soundtrack, or musical score, how ever you want to call it. So it will be a while until it is made available, in full, to the public, if ever.
@MattHunX I'm still wondering if the singers might be actors from the show. All that music that was in episode 19 that Magnus was playing in her house when they were stuck in the suburbs sounded like it was original too. Wonder if it was.
LOL That's funny I asked the exact same question myself! People have been telling me that this is an original music piece that was made specially for Sanctuary and since this is the season 3 theme and season 3 just started unfortunately I don't think it will be in full anytime soon...
I love this tune, I can't really explain why, but it makes me feel free.
