are these quail only chicks or are they fully grown cause im thinking of getting quail, ive seen the italian quail but they are like 3 times the size of yours and i would prefer your sized quail

yes they are full grown, they are good for small places

i use to use chicken feed from the local farm & feed store, i use a mix that i have made up and grow in my back yard, you have to buy them from a breeder. and for better eggs giv them fresh crickets live frozen ( take live crickets and but them in a bag, then put in your freezer for 5 min or untill they stop moving, then feed your quail )

how do you keep there cage warm in the winter. do you need to keep it warm?

well since i live in florida it doesn't get that cooled, around winter it gets about 43 some times it will get lowwer but not much, the hay keeps them warm uz the borrow in side ( you have to put alot of hay ) and you can put a blanket over it like i did that keeps it realy nice and warm

oyster shells are only for your egg layer, only if it start to lay soft eggs

are male quails noisy like cockerals are are they quiet? what do you feed your quails is it the same as feeding chickens?

no, the are alot smaller then chickens, but i feed then dried crushed feed corn mixxed with wheat grain
