Well.. I believe the best singers of this reality shows are always american and british.. I think great singers are found in them. Im from México and personally I think THE VOICE Mexico sucked haha.. (and many other countries aswell)..it wasn't that horrible but compared to this talented people I feel a lil' embarrassed..They should make a reality were all the winners of every country could sing.. perhaps they/we could learn something from the other cultures and enrich the musical influences.

@bodin97 I'm enjoying both shows right now. The thing is, while AI focuses on technique & skills, The voice focuses more on uniqueness. As I ask for both technique & uniqueness from an artist, I just have to watch both shows. The format of The voice is very confusing at times though. I hope when they get a bigger fan base they'll start to do something about that.

I found that when watching this show, the gimmick of not being able to see the singer wears off. Since only the first round has blind performances, I felt it became a lot like American Idol after that.

I can't agree more.I've been watching American Idol for many years,here in Sri Lanka & happened to be browsing when I came across The Voice. American Idol fails in comparison.The Voice is more stylish Sing Talent Show focusing on its aim 2 cultivate talent.American Idol has become a comedy- tiresome & boring.The Voice judges & Carson have good chemistry, a good looking & humble bunch & they don't make Contestants feel at their mercy. I feel like the dutch version (second season) has a lot more obvious product placement than the first season of the Voice of Holland. John de Mol spend too much time watching american tv I guess. Hope a third season will skip that stuff. Dutch people don't like advertisement like that, we like hilarious commercials :-)

The four singers who help out the people singing I can understand like Christina Aguilera is for like people who want to be a pop singer. Blake Shelton is for people who want to go the country route. And Cee Lo is for people who want to get in music like soul hip hop, R & B, or funk. I can understand that cause that really is what kind of singers they are. But Adam Levine is not in a rock band. He's much more in a pop band than a rock band. They need a mentor in rock like Nick Hexum for example.
