  • You know you're fully into the rationalist community when one of the videos on your sub tab links you to another video on your sub tab (through BestOfScience) :-)

  • @Blackmetal I'll say!

  • What a whiny little bitch you are! :D

  • Don't forget about CrAP

  • Yes. Good, good. Avoid all my points and answer with a non-specific meme. Face it - you're not coming across well, here.

  • Andromedas awake, are you the one doing Sirius Stargazer? or are you just putting up someone elses video.

  • Yes.....That is his other channel.

I think that he split them so that his other channel will be pure astronomy rather than a general channel (I may be wrong on that!)

  • You mis-spelled "prepAration". =p

  • Sort of proves how ridiculous your initial claims were, right?

If you're going to whine like a bitch and threaten unsubscription when a user makes a video not to your personal liking - even though you've paid nothing for any of his work - you must think you're owed better videos. I don't see why else you could think anyone would care about losing your solitary sub.

  • I touch myself to such threats

  • Horray!

    Thank you!

  • lol

  • Is step one take a boat out into the pacific to escape light pollution?

  • Great timing, AW. My wife and I just started stargazing.

  • I'm certain you made the same noise when AW uploaded his music video. Threats to unsubscribe, as if anything you do actually matters to him. And, of course, it turns out you either never unsubbed or unsubbed then came back.

He owes you nothing. You should remember that.

  • : )

  • Yes! This is exactly what I've been waiting for! I just got myself a nice telescope and am excited to get some advice so I can maximize its potential.

  • ...would complain if they gilded your monitor in sterling silver. Who did your laundry for you last week?

  • I find the videos good and easy to understand! Great job TK (:

  • That's all nice, but what about welcome to the universe series?

  • @HentaiSceptic It will continue on this channel with CrAP Debunked. It takes A LOT more time to make those videos, please bear with me, I really don't have much free time but a lot of subs have messaged me in detail about what they'd like to see in a stargazing series and I think youtube needs one too.

  • Well, that's great news!

I was worried that WTTU might have been discontinued. Best of luck to your new channel and clear skies!

  • Oh jebus christ. Did you even follow the link and watch the introduction. (Not only is Sirius Stargazing a nice play on words. The channel is highly informative, especially if you're interested in astronomy, which I assume you are seeing are you were/are subscribed to this channel). This sad face is dedicated to you. :(

  • constructive criticism...

  • W00t!

  • groovy! : )

    :

  • If the vids there are only half as good as the vids here, It'll be another treat to the senses.

  • sweet

  • History of the Universe?!?!?!?!

  • What a great idea! =) I'm going to get that telescope I got for my 13th birthday down from the loft, and I'll learn how to use it! =) Thanks AW =)

  • Make some more welcome to the universe videos! Those videos are awesome!

  • AWESOME!!!!!

  • I really wish you went back to creating the Welcome to the Universe serious.

  • stargazing...I remember doing that...yeah.

I havnèt had a clear night in damn near a month now. shit.

  • Beautiful! I'll definitely look into this.

Oh, and just to give you the heads up, "preparation" is spelled wrong on one of the slides.

  • I don't really see why a whole channel should be necessary to start people off. It's laughably simple really.

    1) Obtain binoculars or telescope

    2) Locate star nearest to planet Earth

    3) Gaze intently at through binoculars or telescope

    ...

    nothing could possibleye go wrong.

  • "...nothing could possibleye go wrong."

Probableye not -- unless you wind up turning a blind eye toward such an illuminating experience.

  • patienceking, nearest star to Earth is the Sun.

I advise NOT to "Gaze intently at through binoculars or telescope" at the Sun. And no, sunglasses are NOT enough ;)

  • Yeah they totally are, your just a pussy.

  • how abut a welding helmet? :P

  • Welding helmet was not on the list :P

Seriously, I advise using a pinhole camera setup for watching the sun.

  • I prefer Altair to Sirius, but this is interesting, too.

  • Why so sirius?

  • Astronomy is Sirius Business.

  • @Mackaframmalamma Siriusly?

  • "Astronomy is Sirius Business."

Only if (due to an affinity for Caucasian midgets) you are engaging in it with a white dwarf companion.

  • awesome

  • yay!

  • Sweet :D

  • It's "preparation"

  • @BlowDevilUp Well to be fair, no preparation went into this video.

  • *chuckles*

I find this new channel and the whole idea spectacular! Bravo!

  • awesome idea

  • That's.........super!

  • Nice stuff! second post too :D

  • YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
