Planet Eclipse IS NOT the manufacturer. It is the Eclipse launcher by Tactical Pneumaticcs aka Eclipse Launching Technologies. Planet Eclipse is not Eclipse regardless of their marketing ads and stickers. This is the prototype Model 8. I will be posting Model 9 and 10 soon. They are magazine and belt fed versions of the Eclipse Launcher.
The launcher is actually doing extremely well in regards to less lethal and military use. So much so that we have been distracted a bit from the paintball market since our launchers are being fielded to military testing facilities. (and no, not as a training device either) Sorry I can't say more at this moment.
WTH? I never said he didnt make it. I have talked to him on line about it several times. The production models we're debuted by him, this year at D-Day for a shade over $1500. How about you getting your facts straight before attacking someone that knows what their talking about.
According to what I was getting he was going to do the first run for law enforcement use as a less lethal tool. Dont know how that worked out. No biggie. Looks like we were just misunderstanding each other.
dude!thats awesome!

From what I have heard it will be a production model. I think the first runs are being redesigned a bit for law enforcement applications.
