  • are Wesley guitars good in your opinion? :)

  • @supermoserre

I bought the Phoenix model but the neck is completely twisted impossible to play properly

    big disappointment

do save money and buy a better quality guitar

  • nice playing. you are actually getting some great filthy blues tones out that thing, and a good thick hard rock tone out of the humbucker. what amp did you use?

  • give me one :D

  • hey i have this model havnt modded it at all could you suggest any decent amp settings to use with this guitar??? im playing through a marshall mg 15 series cheers.

  • How do you reccomend that Boston Strat style humbucker, good for metal? Is it any good clean?

    And does it buzz?

  • @ArmenianSOADfreak

A coil tap is a good way of getting a bright clean tone out of any ....humbucker

  • @ArmenianSOADfreak Boston humbucker very strong good for Metal yes

  • Can't you sort out a bad tremolo by adding more springs?

  • say nice tone and playing!

    what amp u playin through

  • i have a suire the trmolo never makes my guitar go out of tune my frriends are liek dude that gna be way out of tune and im like :D no it aint

  • 58 pounds? oh wait.... he talking money haha whoops.

  • @rockinsurfkid Same with me, at first I was like 58 pounds? Holy shit thats a heavy guitar...wait he means money, that makes more sense.

  • got it..man, incredible it sound really good for only 100 eur!

  • would a telecaster hot rail work in a strat bridge position?

  • sure but why make extra holes in the scratch plate? a strat hotrail is same pickup really..

  • You'd have to make sure the angle is the same I think. The strat and Tele bridge pickup are slanted on a different angle I believe.

  • Your bridge and middle pickup are in phase, hence the ultra thin sound. Its the way hotrails are wound.

Tune the guitar by tapping the trem bar a la Hendrix, then when it goise out just hit the trem and it is back in tune. Don't forget pencil lead on the nut and to stretch the strings in.

  • nice vid but they aint humbuckers they are single coils, humbuckers are like two single coils together

  • Yes I meant to say it has a hot rail humbucker at the bridge and single coils at mid and neck positions....

  • Im glad I saw this video because I was ready to order one of those guitars.

I understand that its not the best buy for a beginner because of the detuning problem and the distonation in the pickups

  • Never mind the Trem(Vibrato really eh?)but the acrylic body is suseptible2temp changes,it will go out of tune while you sit in front of gas fire Haha.I do enjoy playing it as bridge pickup is powerfull it has more power than that Yamaha SG2000 Humbucker on the Thinline . Another sound is always fun and I dont like Pedals.

new years eve saw me agreeing to join a band with kieth allen and a girl singist and her boyfriend Bassist should be fun..watch this space.Happy New year.

  • quite agree about the tremelo, i took it off my strat and took the tension of the springs so that it does not go out of tune when a string breaks, hi how are you mike happy new year.
