I mean this as respectfully as possible- In Jon and Kate's situation, their behavior created the whole problem...and their behavior could fix the problem as well, if they resolved to change it. I really don't think a good marriage "just happens" effortlessly. And as for becoming 2 different people, of course they are 2 different people from different backgrounds. But having common goals of treating each other right, and the wellbeing of 8 precious children and the family, makes the difference.
