I use it for browns in my compost bins, but if you wanted to "compost in place" you could use it with greens right in the bed, but it isn't as cool as in a bin , because you can't get the most production out of your bed ,while composting in it .
@ThePurpleCarrot I find that newspaper compacts too much. It needs to be mixed with cardboard. I use shredded cardboard in my worm bins and as mulch on garden beds.
Thank you for posting new videos! I have my cinder block garden up and running now thanks to inspiration from you and your garden. Our spring went from 80 degree days to 105 in literally less than a week, and never subsided. I have health issues and was not able to work in the extreme heat and take care of it like it should have been, but i will rescue it in the fall and be ready for next year. Im eager for you to see what Ive got growing on over here thanks to your videos. Keep up the good work

Thanks! How do you think this would work with newspaper? Do you mix it directly into your planting soil or break it down in a composter first?
