@Futbolista97 Strength determines how high your attack stat is. So, basically, with no skill in Fisticuffs, and no weapon, you're attack is the same as your strength.

my characters are average lvl 57 and i made it to the black dragon form. I can't seem to beat that form though at the current lvl i am. The strategy i implement focuses on defending all my chars and psyching 1 guy up to max for release, and having Angelo focus on heals.

@SephirothBoy13 Level 50 should be fine. You don't need a Liquid Metal Sword either. You can look up where to find Orichalcum on GameFAQs.

@ssjcmc82 my reason for liking final fantasy is very different. I dislike the fact that this games battle system is so repetitive so battles take much longer. and i also dont like how ridiculously hard it is to lvl up. the only monsters in the game u can grind with run away. its just ridiculous and in my opinion just too hard. i enjoyed this game though. a lot.

@yicksagurpledinks To explain, the damage of Dragon Slash and other physical attacks depend on the enemy's Defence stat. Because my Attack stat is so high, Dragon Slash always does more damage than Dragon Soul, even against Darksteel Dragon.

Dragon Soul does not depend on Defence or Attack, and always does about 500 damage unless it is tensioned or used on a metal slime (they are immune). I used Dragon Soul in this video because my Hero was under Dazzle and Miracle Slash might have missed.

How To Get Gospel Ring: Have all 295 monsters INCLUDING the ultimate dragon.

What does it do: makes you so you don't encounter any monsters while wearing it.

Saves alot of time when you're trying to 100% complete the game trust me.
