@InspectaMorze if you're using FL, use the Parameteric EQ and EQ everything but the bass, then use the Fruity Limiter's compression section, set the threshold on low and the ratio just right, then jack the Gain up to where you like it. Trust me, it works. Peace.

@BigWoozi try the fpc, its the same as an mpc, open it, and on the pads are usually drum sounds, look to the right of the pads and you'll see a delete botton just keep pressing it till the sounds are out of the pad and when you press it you don't hear anything, then there are two small boxes one says CUT, and one says BY click on those boxes and slide up till you see the number 1, so it should say CUT 1 BY 1 then just drag your samples you chopped in edison to the empty pads, and you can

@BigWoozi trigger the sounds with your midi keyboard or by click on them with your mouse, all tho i don't think you can record the sounds your playing by just clicking on them, but you can with a midi keyboard, thats how i do my sampled beats, and its the best way iv'e come across. good luck

use slicex. load up your sample in edison and either chop it in edison or slicex. sometimes i prefer to chop in edison since i can play around with the chops without having to cut by 1 you have to in slice ex. there are plenty of tutorial out there that can show you better than i can explain

edison or slicex is fine mate i used to use them but now i have cubase 5 and use audacity and recycle u just gotta ake sure u zoom in as far as it lets u and make sure theres no clipping and its no different from anything else

Can't remember. I usually use my own bass: Touch the end of a cable (1/4 jack works well), record/ sample it. Pitch it up 45 cents (to get it in C - works for me) and filter out the high end (to get rid of hiss) Then loop it... Should have a clean bass sound.
