  • This one time a debt collector called me (I recently changed my number prior to the call) and he asked for a person who no longer used that number. And I couldn't make out what he was saying at some parts so I told him to speak up and he started yelling and I started laughing. That made it worse though, but it was still funny. So he got all pissed and I hung up on him. lol he never called back.

  • creeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeppppppppppppppy.

  • I get at least 15 of these calls a day. I've started playing jokes on them - one time I answered and no one responded so I burped into the phone and hung up. Another time I answered the phone, held it over the toilet, and flushed.

    Sadly, they still call.

  • @mrrodneyalong debt collectors have no legal powers...you are just bullies and parasites....No contract No consent

  • Comment removed

  • @TheWolfmoon21 sure they do, anyone who has ever read their contract knows that they gave that lender consent to hire people and or companies to aid in collection of a past due account. We often excessive our legal powers by ,for instance, sending someone to retrieve the property or submitting the paper work to the court for judgement which often leads to a garnishment. We even, through our legal powers that the debtor gave us, report to the credit reporting agencies on their behalf.

  • @TheWolfmoon21 I cannot believe he just messaged me saying that they do have legal powers when that is a complete lie....they just want to keep people ignorant....even goverment websites state that they have no powers what so ever

  • @TheWolfmoon21 Would you not demand money from someone who has owed you for a significant amount of time?

  • To get relief from Debt collectors, a person must pay their debts timely or must consolidates it with debt settlement companies.

  • I always put an unbelievably long annoying outgoing message on my land line answering machine, just for this reason.

  • @mrrodneyalong I would respond to someone saying something like what your wrote. However the message on this video makes me feel like a swat team is gonna break down the door if I don't call these ppl back =/

  • The system by which we live is designed to keep the poor and middle class poor and middle class and the rich richer. It's that simple.

Don't pay these assholes back for something they should already have given you - a free education so you can make it in this country. Go into $120,000 debt just so you can get a 'job' for $40,000/year? Sounds like a HUGE scam to me.

  • These scum.

  • its a student loan. Pay it. or return the education in the form of giving the government your brain.

lol but seriously. dont mess around with not paying federal student loans, they can garnish anything they want from you, late fees are huge, and also bankruptcies CANNOT include student loans, they can garnish your disability and unemployment as well if you continue not paying.

  • lmao

  • I subscribe to T/W voip. On line you can access "VoiceZone" & block 30 numbers. VoiceZone also allows 30 more "selective call forwarding". I forward them to a recording on my Magic Jacks that has a greeting we all know "I'm sorry, this number has been disconnected & is no longer in service, if you have received this message in error, please check the number and dial again." In addition, I have a Panasonic cordless system that allows me to block another 20 numbers.

  • Tell them to go %#$* themselves! Or do what I do. Never, never answer the phone.

  • Eww Chilling! I'd call right away Baahahaha!

  • Even that Message sounds intimidating

  • just tell them to hold on your getting a credit card. and see how long the idiots stay on hold for.

  • fuck debt collectors, they have harrassed and harmed my family . anyone that chooses this foul occupation deserves to die. dont any cunt try telling me any different. before my life is done, I will have retribution.

  • I don't understand why debt collectors have to sound so mad. If they talk nicely its better but they have to yell.

  • FDCPA does not apply to non thir parties there was no violation in that message

  • @mrrodneyalong I wish every debt collector was that nice but times are hard and with the percentage rates tacked onto the amount you owe it's almost impossible to get these bills paid off. Is there anyway to negotiate the percentage rate down?

  • @mrrodneyalong I wish every debt collector was that nice but times are hard and with the percentage rates tacked onto the amount you owe it's almost impossible to get these bills paid off. Is there anyway to negotiate the percentae rate down?

  • @levilynn2 usually with out them believing that you are fixing to file bankrupt or have hired a lawyer no. All though there alot of places out there that say they can or will help, most charge money with little or no results. the ones I have delt with that do have some pull are the christian debt managing programs out there. Never pay for the services that you can get for free from them. They want to help just because they enjoy it. They ask for no money and expect nothing in return.

  • @mrrodneyalong its hard i know! I have bought nothing on credit for 11 years now, my beacon score is 0- I dont have one at all. Thats not good credit, its no credit. I don't have a credit card, I owe only for a house and it should be payed for in about 4 years. That was a a 168,000 loan with a 5% interest rate. I'm 34 and never went on a vacation of any kind until last year. I went to the beach with my family for a week and we spent 2,000 and I hated it- it was money better spent on the house.

  • @levilynn2 the first step will be figuring how much money you have coming in then put your costs , like power water ect against that. From there you figure out what is most important that has to be payed, like school and car notes ect. you may find that you can afford all of the bills you have but it will require several years of eating at home, packing lunches and managing your power consumption and pinching every penny.

  • "This is not a Drill."

"This message is intended for the resident who is most wanted by the United States Gov't."

"Do not listen to the following message if you are not wanted by the government."

    5-4-3-2-1...

**FBI Agents break through walls and take you away**

  • I like to tell them I don't want to pay, because then I would have less money and would not be able to eat out as much or go on vacation. And of course this is true so that is why I don't pay credit card companies. They don't know how to respond to this.

  • I'm sacred!!!

  • how many other people were so tempted to ring that number???

  • this might be a lil late to say but your might be ale to sue those debt collecters, i saw it on datleine

  • I love FUCKING with these guys when they call. They try to intimidate people and I just laugh at them . They get soooooo pissed ! Funny because they call people trying to sound like they have some magical authority that they don't have. Give them hell

  • I listened to the message that I wasn't supposed to hear. Will black helicopters land in my yard and take me away ?

  • This is scary.

  • 5 4 3 2 1 it blows up haha

  • @huhwut9000 lol pthc

  • I get these all the time yet the calls aren't for me and I have to go through the hassle of calling them to tell them this person no longer has this number then they always ask "do you know how we can contact him?" Oh yeah cause I asked the cellphone company to let me be his/her answering service lol.

  • this is why i always leave a message, as a debt collector, to say this message is for _________ please give me a call back at __________ i have an important buisness matter to discuss with you. generally they call to see what the matter is in regaurds to.

  • That's not really a "crazy" debt collector, it's S.O.P. for debt collectors to leave a message like that. Sounds weird, but the FDCPA prohibits any kind of intentional disclosure of the extinence of a debt to a unauthorized third party. It's very easy to play your messages with a friend or non-immediate family member in the same room, and if they hear the message, and they are not a authorized third party, *BAM!* We just violated Federal Law.

  • Wanna hear a funny answering machine message? Tube search "Singer Auditions on Answering Machine, Funny Phone Message" .

  • Hahaha dipshit.

  • Must work for NASA on the weekends.

  • debt collectors are pathetic, they rely on you paying a debt off if you have one to make their money thats why theyre so harassing bc if u dont pay them they struggle

  • What an accusatory, dishonorable, unforgiving piece of dung...

  • Wow, I am actually a bill collector and we never have to leave messages like that. How does he expect anyone to call him much less pay him with him being a dick? Consumers have rights in which they are to be treated with respect . And I'm pretty sure he shouldn't be leaving the original creditor's name on the voicemail, however a lot of laws have changed in 2 years.

  • This message will self destruct in 5 4 3 2 1

  • I'll bet the company that hires this guy likes him just fine. If he makes them money. It's all about the money. Thanks for posting this and putting some heat on them.

  • This call will self destruct if the listener is not the targetted individual! Three...Two...One...KAAABOOOOOM

  • Once you realize you cant pay them............sorry, I forgot this was an American posting. In Scotland (not England) we have similar issues, but we do not have the same predatory foreclosure situations. ..No one sleeps in their cars...not yet.

  • The reason they use this message is because people who cant pay their bills got made about them leaving messages without saying they were collectors. So they sued won and now you have this!

  • I kept getting calls like this for a bill that I had already paid. Apparently they wanted me to pay it again and thought that annoying me would squeeze another $900 out.

  • @jmt5190 cap. One gave me the card when I was 17, now I have some other party sending me letters, what do I do first? Call pd and say identity theft or what?

  • aahahah how dare to upload this, IRS or not, you owe money or something and you don't want to pay it back. shame on youu!

  • @zkearly LOL

  • @zkearly Shame on the debt collector being an unforgiving, dishonorable, accusatory piece of dung...

  • I wonder how many people just called him to annoy the company and say have a good day.

  • some collection agencys are scams, so do be very weary of who you provide your information to...BUT, everyone now days has internet access.. ask them to give you their website.. and all of their company information and check them out on the business bureau website..if they're not listed, don't fuck with them, butif they're on there, they're ligit!

  • he's just doin his job, wth he's not crazy

  • This is a scam trying to get your credit card numbers.

  • @Ilionabebe

You pack a good point. Tell me more

  • @stupieboy

    There was/is no signature

  • I've always wondered, who the hell are they to tell me not to listen to my own answering machine?

  • I love how people are irresponsible idiots who get into debt and then, instead of paying it, buy computers and webcams and poke fun at it. Pawn your shit and get out of debt you stupid asshat and maybe the rest of us will get a damn tax break and stop paying for your fuck ups. /palm

  • @Rebsten so true, probably a black person since they all have bad debt in comparison to the other races

  • That would be a non-incidental disclosure and thus a violation of the FDCPA, easy $1,000

  • SHOULD CALL BACK AND SAY YOU WILL DO A TED BUNDY ON HIM!!!

  • We don't owe money to the collecters. We owe money to the multi-billion dollar companys. I got a capital one cc when I was 17,, do I still have to pay the amount due:1357.( I am trying to weasle my way out of it.)

  • @casperfromenc If you were 17, then how could you enter into a legally binding contract with the credit card company?

It sounds very dodgy to me, and I wouldn't be surprised if a judge ruled against them for giving a CC contract to a minor in the first place. I'd definitely talk to a community lawyer or financial counsellor before you agree to pay them a single red cent.

You may even be able to sue them for punitive damages for taking advantage of you when you were under the age of consent.

  • @casperfromenc Actually, you can be charged with fraud to a major credit card company. If you sign the app, they have every right to believe you are over the age of 18. If you try to "weasle" your way out, and they can prove fraud, you could get a major fine and/or prison time.

    Have fun with Bubba, bitch.

  • have you tried paying your bill? i know, crazy idea, but hey it just might work.

  • I'm going to call this asshole on his toll free number using skype. What wonderful program now we can all give him a piece of our mind.

  • Don't finance anything and don't borrow money to people who can't pay that's all there is to it. Shame on you if you borrow money to people and hope to make money on late fees!

  • This is funny, simply because a collector gives this sort of disclaimer does not mean that his or her message (I cannot tell by its voice) is within statutory law. The way this person expresses him or herself over the phone, one would think that the debtor is under a duty to answer any questions these idiots want to ask. Record all collection agent conversations, and do not admit to anything, these people are not attorneys and you are under NO obligation to speak to any of these morons.

  • im sure if someone owed you money you'd be on thier front doorstep looking for it 5-10 years down the road...

  • @theriggs2 Actually, I wouldn't. I'd cut my losses, like any normal person. It's only the companies and people who are out to squeeze, scam, and trap their customers that engage in this kind of disgusting practice. Debt Collectors should be outlawed. If you loan somebody money, and they don't or can't pay you back, well.. you shouldn't have loaned them money.

  • @ hydrobot2003 - just so you know, i dont scam anybody, if you look up the laws and the time you actually have to pay these loans, bills, whatever. they give you so many options. if people acually looked up what happens when your loans for credit cards go into default, there are things that you can do to stop the calls and letters. if you owe money, and you send it like TEN FUCKIN DOLLARS a month there is nothing they can do to you because you ARE PAYING.

  • @theriggs2 If you send them 10 dollars, then they will be able to hang around on your credit report forever. If you ignore them, they have to stop attempts, and remove it from your credit after 7 years.

  • fuck them, telephone tough guy. I wish debt collecting was in person!!

  • That's ridiculous..i work at a collection agency, and all we say is "hi, my name is samantha, could you please give me a call back at (number) thanks have a nice day" lol. that guys nutty for real. i'd call him back and tell him to fuck off

  • You can demand them to stop calling and contacting you. They are the lowest of the low, hang in there. We can bail out banks but not people with ridiculous interest accrued on student loans.

  • @MrGrevy

uh no if you owe the debt there's nothing you can do short of paying the debt to stop the calls, with the exception that they break the law such as calling after 9pm, and in some states they call on sunday or call you at work in some states.

  • @Scari45 No you can tell them to stop contacting you - they can keep reporting it on your credit report, or sue you, but you do have the right to not be contacted.

  • I had debt collectors call me. First they'll pull the intimidation game and act like tough guys. Every other time I would pick the phone up and let them talk their stupid little heart out as I put the phone down, took a shit came back to the phone and if they were still their I would ask them if they were done and then hang up.

  • @BayouChick31 - it is a sin what the finance companies are doing to people. They know that you are going to fail, that is what they want, that is how they make money, big money that is!

  • @BayouChick31 they should pay. but if they no longer live @ your home than they shouldnt call. im having a fuck of a time dealing with these people calling my house...now my cell!!

  • maybe if you idiots payed your bills people wouldnt have to call you and talk to you like your stupid. thats a valid foti message per FDCPA. maybe it wouldnt be harassment if you just answered your phones and CLEARY STATE YOU ARE REFUSING TO PAY. losers!

  • @theriggs2 - fact... Bank prey on people and make more money when they do not pay bills. Banks do not want you to pay your bill and want you to fail. They know if your will succeed or fail before you! 90% of people who owe money is because they were scammed by a crook. Probably someone like you? You are probably a used lemon car sales man that owns a lemon lot... Hater!

  • @hydrobot2003

I don't understand how anyone preys on someone, it's the borrower who went to get the loan. This is why I don't take loans out if I can't buy it outright I stay away, student and house loans are different since those are debts you normally can't afford alone. In such cases you take a course you're almost guaranteed a job out of college, or don't buy a house within your means. freddie and fanny were guaranteeing loans made to people that created the housing bubble which burst...

  • Debt collectors are scum, apparently 7 of them watched this video too...

  • your supposed to say: this message is for ___ if you are not ___ please hang up or disconnect. if you are ___ please continue to listen to this message, there will now be a brief pause in this message. this is mr. -- with whatever financial compay, this is an attempt to collect a debt by a debt collector and any information obtained will be used for that purpose. please contact me about an important buisness matter at 555-555-5555......really anything more than that violates fdcpa.

  • Funny thing is that call will pay for itself it violates the fdcpa.

  • i AM a voicemail. this is an attempt to leave you a voicemail. any annoyances caused are solely for that purpose and this call may be monitored for annoyance assurance.

  • FAKE...

  • @Tuberidin01 actually this is not fake I've had creditors call my number and leave messages for someone else and it said the same thing "this if for (person's name) if you are not this person do not listen to the following message" they didn't count down though, that was funny, but yeah they do say not to listen to the message if you aren't that person

  • ridiculous!

  • How do you not listen to a call recorded on your machine. We keep getting these calls for people who don't live with us but happen to have the same last name!

  • Funny video and incredible machine

  • How do you fuck a department?

  • @svetloste ask them out on a date first.

  • Interestingly, Premier's message complies with ALL of the federal requirements for leaving a voicemail message. I'm not sure why the poster is calling this "harassment" -- cuz, you know, you need to repay your student loans to the Department of Ed. Oh, and Premier collected $807,106.00 for the U.S. Department of Ed in April 2010 alone.

  • I returned my loan because of all the horror stories I heard my friends and sister about the debt collectors, we are not free, we go to school and then we are enslaved to the Banks.

  • Make sure to go to college kids, so you can get calls like this the rest of your life. You might miss them though, you'll be working a lot of hours at Burger King.

  • @gofukurselvz

Or like me, you’ll have a great job … outside of the USA.

  • @Zyozyoma Or like me a business owner in the USA. Although, I didn't got to college....

  • sounds more like an Italian mobster looking for the collection money than a debt collector.

  • @SleepingWolf26 LMAO this comment made me giggle quite a bit because that's exactly what I thought too!

  • hahahaha this is funny they r trying to like scare the person into paying lmao

  • SCARY AS HELL

  • Will it cost them money if I call debt collectors on skype?

  • Lol some guy made a music video with t his..

  • Psychotechnique meant to scare people ...they use all kinds of methods,it.s their job...nothin personal I hope ...but they will try different things to try to get results... what a job it must be.his method is disturbing though

  • Warning! Do not continue if you do not want to read this comment! 5,4,3,2,1. This is a comment, which I understand, you read! This is an attempt to post a youtube comment, and any information obtained will be used for that purpose!

  • Was this actually for you?

  • Was this actually for you? O.o!

  • Well, why did he call in the first place ?

  • Yep, the guy on this message is a real dork. You can detect the hate, resentment and sociopathy that has built up inside him.

I bet the company who employs him treats him like shit as well!

  • Hilarious! I don't think I've ever heard anything from England that equals this level of stupidity. Though I could be wrong.

  • Funny! I'd tell them they are already paid-in-full through the BUSH/OBAMA T.A.R.P. fund!

Money I didn't approve of was taken from me

    to fund GOD knows what.

Call and get it from THEM.....ER....US.

    In the meantime,call 1-800-you-suck!

  • What a joke! Should anyone be intimidated by his forceful, emphatic voice? I'd laugh in his face. They're going to do whatever they're going to do, because the formula in the computer looks at the numbers and makes the decision. This guy is just a zit-faced peon, acting tough and hoping someone will take him seriously. The company may have power over me, but this moron doesn't. That's why I'd laugh in his face.

  • At least he gave a warning to the listener and he didn't cuss or something. I was expecting something really harsh. Anti-climax!

  • Wow, there's actually a job out there skeezier than a telemarketer lol.

  • hahahahaha americans r so gay.... biggest joke on earth

  • Those who lack the talent to clean the bathroom floors of adult video stores, become debt collectors.

  • debt collector is kind of like tow truck driver, you can't do the job right unless you're a dick, lol

  • i dont care if you are a debt collector or not quit fuggin harassing me about shit that isnt even mine! get your calls straight and quit hasseling people! Call my house and i will do what i said in one of my later comments. but what you dont know is that i have a tracer on all my calls coming in to track the orginal caller down and also i have 10 cops in my family that arent afraid to show up and pay a nice visit

get a real job dead bolt

  • Reply to davef2k6: So you can't capitalize the beginning of a sentence, use punctuation or spell "loser." Looks like you have the perfect education to be a debt collector.

  • I always hang up on those weirdos.

  • i find it funny tho if you continue to say yes to all their questions they will get poed! its always fun to do tht to a debt guy. or cus them out then when they get mad say i dont like your tone and hang up

  • i got a call from CRA COLLECTORS. the man said he wanted his money by NOON TIME . OR ELSE the GOVERMENT WILL GET ME .

  • Stupid debt collectors they are all so stupid ya know what i did te other day is when they called i faked it like there was a murder of the person they were trying to contact and i hasseled the collector and i havent received a call since it was funny. MAKE YOUR OWN PERSONALIZED SAYING FOR DEBT COLLECTORS LIKE A MURDER OR SUICIDE FROM DEBT COLLECTORS ASK THEM THEIR LOCATION AND ACT LIKE THEY ARE GETTING THE POLICE ON THE PHONE watch how fast they stop calling back

  • Didn't Tom Mabe do that?

  • yup but it works

  • I was at a friends house the other day and he got a phone call like that. If you're not this person, don't listen to this message. They never have left me a message like that. They couldn't get in touch with me, so they called my neighbor and asked them to deliver a message to call them. I could never be a debt collector. I'm not that evil.

  • they have to say hangup if youare not so and so to protect them from breaking federal and state laws

  • That is the best thing I have ever heard!!!!!! lol

  • I don't see anything crazy about this call. He's just sounding really scary, which is his job and a good way to collect. Not illegal at all. They are also not allowed to disclose that they're collecting a debt to persons other than the supposed debtor. And they're just requesting a callback (in an aggressive tone of voice.) I see nothing wrong with the call if the debt is legitimately owed.

  • BRIGHT LIGHT IDEA!

EVERYONE who watches and READS this message CALL THEM at the NUMBER they give non-stop lol it will raise the HELL out of their 800 Phone Number Usage.

Many years back a Minister was bashing Gays.

Gay Activists raged a Telephone WAR back at him & it nearly put his ass out of business just over the 800 calls he constantly got.

I hate these tactics. I had a similar one recently with WAMU they were literally AUTO DIALING a WRONG Number and leaving me this kinda shit!

    Peace~

  • Do they seriously think that someone is gonna hang up if the call wasn't intended for them. Hell no they are gonna keep listening and laugh! What a jerkoff!!

  • 5...4...3...2...1

    WTF?

  • Premier credit

  • thanks for the link, thats is really awesome of you

  • omg its Stan Morri Ford inTracy CA!!!

  • That sounds crazy. However you said "This is not the IRS" but they never said they were so I'm not sure why you said that.

I'm not sure why anyone would reply to that message.

  • Don't ever give money to the PBS if you owe money to the US Department of Ed.

  • Who would call this jerk-off's back? A monkey could run a better collection agency than these idiots. How the fuck do they ever collect anything?

  • @SimX9000 They likely DON'T get many calls back, but where these "debt collection companies" make their cash is through drawing off their dad's HUGE trust fund for them to start their little firm, then buying debt cases from debters, holding it, then selling it to their little wall street freaky friends who are living off their dad's trust fund.
