Huh, I know most convenience stores sell chargers that let you charge your phone with normal batteries, and some conbini have vending machine dealies where you pay, but I hadn't heard of anyone offering free recharges.

That is pretty cool, I didnt know that. I have one of those really cheapo deal things 1000 yen for 2/3 months, I just use it so people can contact me and just send sms's which are really cheap to send.

Japanese customer service is pretty awesome overall. Charge your phone and give you a free drink. that is nice.

I have had no problems with softbank and I really like the "double white" plan which lets me talk to other Softbank users for free from 1am-9pm :D
