Last Guardian will be epic. Have you played Shadow of the Colossus or ICO? Games are just amazing. If you havn't played them yet wait till they come out in HD on the PS3 and get a PS3 aready. Can't believe you didn't mention LBP2, that game is unbelievable.
Sony and Nintendo won e3 because they made both of their fanbases happy. I prefer Sony so that was the only one I watched and I was very happy with what I saw so for me Sony won. I can see how people say Nintendo won because they announced alot of great looking games for the Wii and 3ds unlike what they've been doing the last few e3s. If Sony would have kept quite about games like Killzone 3, LBP2, inFAMOUS 2 and revealed them at e3, Sony would have won.

most people that want to play the type of games that will come out on the playstation move have already bought a wii. i have a ps3 and a wii, so i'll just stick with that instead of getting a playstation move with the money that i'm saving up for a 3ds with. but i am excited for the ps3 games that don't require playstation move, mostly the new littlebigplanet, twisted metal, and killzone.
Lol, the funny thing is that even if you if it is not required, 2 of those 3 games you mention have Move support. KillZone 3 and LittleBigPlanet2 both work great with Move.

They logically have to do something better.
And it's better to have a sphere and not a flat sensor on top of the controllers, the sphere can be tracked no matter where you're pointing the Move.

Hmmm... Idk about the move but I want The Sly Collection and that new Twisted Metal. Little Big Planet 2 I will most likely get. I think Sony and Nintendo owned Microsoft this year. I've never had a DS, but the I'm going for the 3DS. I don't care how much it costs. It's going to have amazing games like MGS3D, Frogger 3DS, and way more.
Well the move didn't rope me in but it looks fun. I think that the wands will be utilized well in LBP2 so that's sold the move for me. Anyway, for those that would only get the game for like.. I was expecting Last Guardian as well, and it would have been better if they did show something about it. Otherwise it was dissapointing, Move still hasn't really grabbed my attention since the Wii has done most of what the Move is trying to do.
@rkageru I don't even think that's correct - and even if it was - that is not cheap enough for it to catch on. I'm not saying it's not worth $99, but I am saying if Sony wants it to sell, and sell well, it needs to be CHEAP. They'd practically need to be losing money on the wands.

MOve is more expensive? Are you serious? A move controller cost 50 bucks. Navigator cost 30. That is 70. If you want to play with a friend ad another 70. 140. Plus the eyetoy which is 40 will be 180. You want the full effect of move add another 140 that is 330 bucks. 1 kinect will be able to have 4 people playing. So again its more expensive?
@NintendoFanGirl The other problem is that Sony and Microsoft have been bashing Nintendo's motion controls and have programmed their fanboys (and girls) to think motion controls are a gimmick for casual gamers. Now they are spending tons of cash on R&D in order to copy (and best) the Wii's technology and then trying to sell it to people who think it's a gimmick. They are setting themselves up for failure. And that's good. Microsoft and Sony don't need a monopoly on the gaming industry.

I have played with the Move and it is way better than Wii Motion Plus. Sony is going to release a new PS3 Slim model, quieter and greener, which i am waiting for to replace my old PS3. Sony has already lunched a promotion for the PSP with free games and price drops. But a PSP 2 is needed if they are to compete with the 3DS.
I know it won't be their biggest announcement, of course, but I'm really hoping that they say a bit more about Persona 5. NFG if you haven't played the Persona games, YOU MUST!!! Hell, I'll even mail em to ya.
psp has a few games worth buying one for but honestly the ds has a much larger library of replayable games.
sure the psp owns the ds in terms of hardware but the touch screen adds a lot of play experience the psp cannot compete with, only using the typical control scheme
As far as the PS3 being backwards compatible with the PS2 on all models (not just the original models), I'm going to say that I highly doubt it. If they do it at all, it'll be on a case by case basis like with MS.
The main problem being is that, to cut costs, Sony took the Emotion Engine (the core chip that drove the PS2) out of the PS3. I honestly believe that if they could emulate the Emotion Engine on the PS3, they would have done it already.
PS Move is going to be a complete dud. No one is going to buy it just like no one bought the PlayStation Eye. As far as the PSP goes, yes, the PSP Go was one of the worst ideas they've ever had for the PSP. And while still rumor, there have been screenshots of a new PSP SKU out there (PSP-4000).
I didn't even think about the PS2 compatibility. I really hope they announce that, other wise there's really nothing to look forward to. I've kind of lost faith in Microsoft after today. I left Sony's side for a while but I had to get back on that train. Sony PLEEEAAASE don't disappoint this year!!

Sony will probably focus more on games than move and 3D. They only announced sequels early because they couldn't announce them all at once so they will have even more to show. KZ3, LBP2, GT5, Socom 4, The Last Guardian, Agent, Infamous 2, Motorstorm 3, Yakuza, Ghost of Sparta, Kingdom Hearts, Valkyria Chronicles 2, Phantasy Star Portable, and more to come

@cyrax752 neither project natal or ps move have shown real proof of accuracy. natal has only been played by reviewers (namely those who does reviews for xbox games) or executives who work at microsoft so maybe the proof is not there

i love my playstation 3 but sony needs to pull their head out of their ass. i think they made a mistake unveiling all these sequels before E3 because if all they have to show is 3D and the move then im going to be really disappointed.

Interesting that you mention the backwards compatibility in regards to the PS3 but the X-Box 360 you don't - lack of rumors in that area for Microsoft I guess but I think they need to improve theirs also. I know there are some x-box games you can download for the 360 but I don't think there are a lot. Also both need to make it something like software emulation or even an extra piece of hardware for emulation... I don't like re-buying the same game.

3D games should be a cause to run the other way, at least for now. i feel like since 3d is the hotopic for anything with a screen right now, that companies will sell the sizzle without the steak, or the fireworks without the bang so to speak. any 3d tech scares me right now.
Also I have the first PSP that came out and I never play it, so Sony definitely needs to do something with that, though they will never beat the DS so..yeah.
I think the most we'll see of the PSP is a PSP-4000, so just slimmer. There was a little rumor/whisper of what looked like the pieces of a PSPGo but with a UMD drive. It was a bad misstep by Sony to launch a device that didn't take the current file format and not say it was a sequel version or separate it from the PSP. But if the 4000 is a PSPGo with a UMD drive, they'll have a nice device on their hands.
psp2 is well over do its been five years and all we have seen are stupid updates on the psp it all so needs a bigger library to compete with the 3ds keeping my fingers crossed for ff13versus as for the move really didn't sony make fun of the wii remote when it came out

Last Guardian will be epic. Have you played Shadow of the Colossus or ICO? Games are just amazing. If you havn't played them yet wait till they come out in HD on the PS3 and get a PS3 aready. Can't believe you didn't mention LBP2, that game is unbelievable.

Sony and Nintendo won e3 because they made both of their fanbases happy. I prefer Sony so that was the only one I watched and I was very happy with what I saw so for me Sony won. I can see how people say Nintendo won because they announced alot of great looking games for the Wii and 3ds unlike what they've been doing the last few e3s. If Sony would have kept quite about games like Killzone 3, LBP2, inFAMOUS 2 and revealed them at e3, Sony would have won.

most people that want to play the type of games that will come out on the playstation move have already bought a wii. i have a ps3 and a wii, so i'll just stick with that instead of getting a playstation move with the money that i'm saving up for a 3ds with. but i am excited for the ps3 games that don't require playstation move, mostly the new littlebigplanet, twisted metal, and killzone.

What I mean is: why would Sony, who has been working in Move technology since the PS2 do something that is not better than the top seller(Nintendo/Wii)
They logically have to do something better.
And it's better to have a sphere and not a flat sensor on top of the controllers, the sphere can be tracked no matter where you're pointing the Move.

I would cosplay if i had time and money, but im not that into anime and i dont know how to get into it because the Cons i hear of are super expensive to get in (hotel, entrance fee, etc.) and i often dont know what i should do there except browse goods.
She is a nice person, i am honestly jealous for her popularity, i dont get alot of it :(

Hmmm... Idk about the move but I want The Sly Collection and that new Twisted Metal. Little Big Planet 2 I will most likely get. I think Sony and Nintendo owned Microsoft this year. I've never had a DS, but the I'm going for the 3DS. I don't care how much it costs. It's going to have amazing games like MGS3D, Frogger 3DS, and way more.

Well the move didn't rope me in but it looks fun. I think that the wands will be utilized well in LBP2 so that's sold the move for me. Anyway, for those that would only get the game for like.. The Last Guardian, you do know that there are other great games out there on the Ps3, right? I mean, Ps3 has been voted to have the best library of games.

You want the full effect of move add another 140 that is 330 bucks. 1 kinect will be able to have 4 people playing. So again its more expensive?

@NintendoFanGirl The other problem is that Sony and Microsoft have been bashing Nintendo's motion controls and have programmed their fanboys (and girls) to think motion controls are a gimmick for casual gamers. Now they are spending tons of cash on R&D in order to copy (and best) the Wii's technology and then trying to sell it to people who think it's a gimmick. They are setting themselves up for failure. And that's good. Microsoft and Sony don't need a monopoly on the gaming industry.

All three conferences were meeeh this year in my opinion.
Sony didn't show everything they planned it seems. ( Last guardian, Agent etc)
Microsoft screwed their Kinect demos. Only 4 major games showed ( MGS rising...Reach...)
Nintendo didn't show any new IP, but did succeed in revealing Third party support with tons of well known franchises ( MGS, KH 3DS etc).
Waiting for Gamescom and TGS.

I have played with the Move and it is way better than Wii Motion Plus. Sony is going to release a new PS3 Slim model, quieter and greener, which i am waiting for to replace my old PS3. Sony has already lunched a promotion for the PSP with free games and price drops. But a PSP 2 is needed if they are to compete with the 3DS.

As far as the PS3 being backwards compatible with the PS2 on all models (not just the original models), I'm going to say that I highly doubt it. If they do it at all, it'll be on a case by case basis like with MS.
The main problem being is that, to cut costs, Sony took the Emotion Engine (the core chip that drove the PS2) out of the PS3. I honestly believe that if they could emulate the Emotion Engine on the PS3, they would have done it already.

PS Move is going to be a complete dud. No one is going to buy it just like no one bought the PlayStation Eye. As far as the PSP goes, yes, the PSP Go was one of the worst ideas they've ever had for the PSP. And while still rumor, there have been screenshots of a new PSP SKU out there (PSP-4000).

Sony will probably focus more on games than move and 3D. They only announced sequels early because they couldn't announce them all at once so they will have even more to show. Interesting that you mention the backwards compatibility in regards to the PS3 but the X-Box 360 you don't - lack of rumors in that area for Microsoft I guess but I think they need to improve theirs also. I know there are some x-box games you can download for the 360 but I don't think there are a lot. Also both need to make it something like software emulation or even an extra piece of hardware for emulation... I don't like re-buying the same game.

2) Look at the PSP Go sales, then try to argue that statement.

3D games should be a cause to run the other way, at least for now. i feel like since 3d is the hotopic for anything with a screen right now, that companies will sell the sizzle without the steak, or the fireworks without the bang so to speak. any 3d tech scares me right now.

I think the most we'll see of the PSP is a PSP-4000, so just slimmer. There was a little rumor/whisper of what looked like the pieces of a PSPGo but with a UMD drive. It was a bad misstep by Sony to launch a device that didn't take the current file format and not say it was a sequel version or separate it from the PSP. But if the 4000 is a PSPGo with a UMD drive, they'll have a nice device on their hands.

psp2 is well over do its been five years and all we have seen are stupid updates on the psp it all so needs a bigger library to compete with the 3ds keeping my fingers crossed for ff13versus as for the move really didn't sony make fun of the wii remote when it came out

3D gaming... no thanks. Sony move...No thanks. Killzone 3... YES PLEASE. I hope they announce a new PSP. The next PSP. Not just another remake. It will never beat the DS, but I would like to buy a new PSP, but I'm waiting for the next one.

I have a 120gb Slim and I played The Legend of Dragoon CD and it worked, but my PS2 Kingdom Hearts 2 didn't work... Damn!
