the WE Tech is quite a bit wider than the real M14.

I had a military surplus stock and tried.

you would have to router out the inside of the stock to fit the gbb receiver in.

also, the catch under the barrel didn't want to work on the real steal one. I think the wood might have to be thinned there and the metal endcap from the airsoft one installed.

btw, got the stock from sportsman's guide but is wasn't in the best shape..

O.o I got a M14 EBR. its electric with blowback, Full metal and it shoots at 670FPS. and the range owners had no problem with it. And incase anyone is wondering its a G&G EBR but a buddy of mine did some custom work on it so thatits just a beast now.

The KJW M4 is definitely loud. Sometimes when I'm shooting it, my ears start ringing.

Not sure how it compares with the M14 though. I would imagine with a heavier bolt, the M14 is louder.

If you look at certain airsoft places, you can find the JG GBB M4 Carbine for only about $100. It isn't full metal, but it gives you a platform to upgrade.

but it sucks that i may have to go real steel for a JAE or Troy stock. cause id rather a JAE-100, SOPMOD or MCR over the other styles.

We would require lab coniditions for serious testing of accuracy. 2) too much variables = if I use Excel 0.25g BBs and Greengas at a range of 20 meters, someone will say his M4 is much more accurate using TM 0.2g BBs with Topgas, etc. As soon as the accuracy isnt way off or extremly good or important for the review (eg. Sniper Rifles) they wont be mentioned in the vids. 3) boring to show in the video how bbs hit or miss a paper target

@ScaarAT Somehow you guys still managed to do not so scientific, but funny and practical accuracy tests in your previous vids. :-) Since most GBBRs shoot like cr*p, even compared to cheap ACM AEGs, it should be an important part of the review how these new products fare... And I'm pretty sure the audince would welcome longer and more detailed reviews.
