I'm sorry, just listening to your commentary is ridiculous. You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. "My eyes are damaged...yeah, like I've been wearing glasses since I was 6. The laser is like, breaking up the molecules on the inside of my eye." You really have no idea what LASIK surgery is. Do the public a favor: stop talking like you know what you're talking about, and stop telling people that glasses or contacts make your vision worse over time. Absolutely false and ignorant.
LASIK was the worst decision of my life, it felt like a thousand needles sticking my eyes. They market it like it's painless but it's not. The suction ring felt like it pulled my eyes out of their socket. LASIK promotes permanent conditions with no cure:
-Dry Eye Syndrome
-Double Vision
-Night Halos/Starbursts
-Depression
-Loss of Visual Acuity
-Accelerated Aging of the Eye
-Lack of Natural Tear Production
-Each Year Post LASIK Vision Gets Progressively Worse
I posted this video...to answer the questions, my vision is better than 20/20 (it's actually 20/15 in one eye and 20/16 in the other)...my diopters were above -6...I have nothing but good things to say about the surgery, as long as you go to a reputable doctor...I still have some halos...wearing glasses will make your vision worse over time because your eyes use the glasses as a crutch...this is the same with contacts...I hope I've answered all questions, and if you have any more, holla!
How long has it been since you have had the surgery, and do you see with 20/20 still? Also, was your diopters above -6? You say you were legally blind. Well, I had very blurry near-sightedness, too. So, I would like to know if you are doing fine, and the halos have disappeared.
That's a nice eye ;)
