This is a very expnsive port, much better than the SNES one. If not for CCC 2 PS 2 I'd be crap out of luck on owning a version of Captain Commando. I have played this port though, and it is very very solid, if it isn't arcade perfect, it's sure darn close.

@JPThunder01 There actually *is* a 4 player mode, but you have to unlock it using a cheatcode.

Since you got an PS2 I'd recommend the "Capcom Classic Collection Vol. 2" which contains an arcade-perfect port of Captain Commando ;)

It was a good idea that all commandos had their own unique weapons and "fatalities".

Captain - Burns them

Sho/Ginzu - Melts them

Jennetty/Mack - Decap them

Hoover/Baby - Pounds them

Actually Ginzu cuts them in half at the torso and Mack melts them...
