What I don't like, is when someone doesn't know Japanese, but still says -san, or -chan and so on at the end of names. I don't know, but it just annoys me. If you want to, learn it. Don't just memorize one or two words. >_>
They're barely words, they're honorifics, and it's perfectly valid for someone to put them at the end of non-Japanese names. It's not a big deal, culture is culture.
if only i knew what the heck they were saying, but alas i speak English and this as a mostly Japanese channel so no help there, maybe i study in college or something '-_-
Likely an anime's VAs and director, but this thing's going to be obsolete:
1. When Vocaloid-type technology starts to be used in place of anime voice actors (the savings! and the director gets EXACTLY the voice he imagines!)
2. When Desktop Animation Production finally leaves Disney-Pixar and into the hands of doujinshi artists to create homebrew commercial-grade anime who can create original or expanded past/current anime works. It'll be an incredible brave new world I hope to see!
Animation production is a massive job, even anime with limited frame budgets require several subcontracted studios and teams to produce.
From experience, doujinshi artists could create animation but the man hours required far outstrip the time limitations of an artist or even established circles.
Even if money is saved eliminating voice actors time is still required for someone to time and direct synthed vocals.
I really doubt seiyuu can be out done by synthed vocals anyway.
Automated animation production is already being done at Disney and in Germany; the only question is when Desktop Animation Production breaks out into the consumer world. Newspapers and TV stations once laughed at the concept of Desktop Publishing and Video; now, like the Seattle paper, they're desperately quick late converts. Same for VAs; once vocaloids sound natural and fantastical enough, the masses will be hooked. Like off horses into cars. That's why Miku gets no love from pro singers.
There's no such thing as automated animation, it's not even a possiblity. Parts of the process can be automated and aided but work itself cannot be done by computers. Desktop publishing and video are different beasts altogether. Publishing print digitally is easy enough to realise and the costs of producing high quality video are no longer a barrier.
However if you want to produce animation of any quality or even a film you will still require most of the disciplines currently employed.
We already have alot of animation on web like what you are talking about, the barrier to it's quality is not software.
Poeple can already make feature quality animation from home, most simply lack the skills. Finding VOs is a hurdle but so is the entire soundtrack. Then there's copyright issues, color designs, pre-production work to be done.
Another problem is the price, Hobbiests would have to make a return on the thousands invested in software, hardware and time spent on production.
I'm sorry, but you're the idiot. - - If you paid any attention, you'd notice they've released English subs in their channel, so it is not an exclusively Japanese channel.
And seriously, grow up. 大になれ、ボケ。 Trying to act all cool to those that understand Japanese... it's pathetic.
I dont have to try, I do and this message was only to the weeaboos that watch all the japanese videos just because their weeaboos then complain its not in english, ive watched my share of these videos in english too but I get pissed when someone starts complaining about it not being in english. and to drillman3000
go back to 4chan faggot and take your fail with you.
@jomann18: Wrong, the correct response is that you "aren't" trying to be cool. The mere fact that you claim you are cool ("I do [act cool]") is not only inherently wrong, but actually says you are indeed acting.
I understand complaining being annoying, but being a complete asshole just proves you're internet scum. Just look at what you've written here. Returning an insult of "NO U" is pretty much proof of that anyways. Plus you're all pompous about it.
