Nah, I did play this alot back in 2003 onto 2007 a few hours a day, but I've pretty much stopped playing now a days, I did well in school, practiced athletics 5/6 days a week and a few other things, now a days work a full time job so I don't really have time for this that much either way. :P

yeah keep in mind that your keyboard should compatibel with "anti-ghosting-effect" which means to be able to press about 8 buttons at the same time^^

You need to go to the paste of Stepmania, Themes, default, and metrics.

On metrics you choose "Edit" - "Localize" - "C400" you just delete "400" and write what you want.. like "C750"

It could be the same, but there are 3 or more Laptops that look almost identical to eachothers. My girlfriends Laptop looks 99 % like mine, but she has 1 GB RAM instead of 512 MB like me, and she has a Intel Core Duo 1,4 Ghz instead of a single core 1,73 ghz like me.

It's pretty different from each songs, sometimes I need to look more on the right side of the screen, sometimes on the left, but most often I'm trying to look in the middle and at all 8 Arrows at the same time.

It's pretty hard to get used to in the beginning. :P

2. This is the EASIEST version of Emerald Sword (8-Arrowed) I've made. Oni is much more harder.

These are 16th notes in 180 BPM, and that is equal to 9 arrows a second.

Razer tarantula, some dell keyboards, and the amazing logitech elite allow for 4 arrow key presses. My logitech access 600 allows for 4 arrow presses on the wasd keys

It all depends on the keyboard and all that.

Try changing your setup, you might be able to press 4 with another configuration on the keyboard.

Otherwise buy a new one. =)

Go to options then go down to config key/joy mappings to change controls. You can test which 4 keys you can press down at once by going to: control panel - keyboard and then try out some combos in the text box. Hope this helps

Your problem is that your keyboard can't press more than 3 at once, or you might try changing your config, and if you're lucky you might be able to press 4 (or more) at once.

you could use spread as in like left=a right=; up=; and down=s. this has made it alot easier to play hard songs. hope this helps.
