  • This or haf x? Price isnt a problem, only temps and airflow.

  • Building a Pc with the standard 932.

  • fuck this shit

  • Hey Linus! great video. I have the HAF 932 standard edtion, one thing myself and my partner tech Sami noticed when we put the hard drive into the tooless bay was that not all hard drives sit flush in the tray. The pins dont fit in holes of certain drives causing the rubber nubs to be crooked and the tray won't slide back in place properly. but other than that its a awsome VERY quiet case. my old one was the Antec Sonata II it sounded like a jet on take off. :P

    Sabs

  • Should I get the CM 690 II Advanced or the HAF 932 Advanced?

  • @Fox9720 HAF

  • @Fox9720 definitively the 932

  • @Fox9720 if you want great pc temperatures and airflow, great looking case and A LOT of room inside it, definitively 932, if you don't give a fuck about temperatures and room inside than get 690

    haf has 3 x 230mm fans, while 690 has what? 1 x 200mm and 1 x 120mm

  • What if you mounted 2 Corsair AX850's and left out the 24-Pin and 4-Pin from one?

  • Thermaltake's Armor+ is still kicking asses.

  • i have this chasis :D

  • I like the looks of this one more than the HAF X, it just looks a little more brutal than it's bigger brother.

  • lol the weird noise at 7:01

  • you know linus, when i typed 'cooler master haf 932' I scrolled all the way till i found your video

I know urs will be the detailed and the best one! dont care abt the others!

  • @TechNewsWeeklyMMXI lol I did the same thing.

  • Im building a computer and buying parts from both NCIX and Newegg. Should I get gtx 460 sli, gtx 560 sli, or gtx 570? Specs: i7 2600k oc 4.2 ghz 8gb DDR3 G. SKILL RIPJAW LG CD/RW burner Microsoft x4 Sidewinder Razer Naga Intec 900W PSU Cooler Master HAF 922 23" Acer LED backlight LCD slim monitor and the gpu BEST THING IS I THINK EVERYTHING IS FROM WATCHING LINUS'S VIDEOS!
  • @gigacandy defenietly a gtx 570

  • Are the 3 fans pwm?

  • Linus can i have that case when your done with it?

  • they should make a cm 690 III

  • Cooler Master should give the 8 pin power connector in all their cases! xD i bought a cooler master case with a bottom mounted psu but my connector was too short to reach the top of the motherboard. i had to spend like 2 bucks on an extender but it would have been nice to get one for free :P

  • is the Haf X better than this?

  • @DStroy1995 HAF X is better in almost every way but the 932 BE looks cooler imo

  • @DStroy1995 Thanks :)

  • he sounds like he is so bored xD

  • 3 SSD mounts Linus, 2 can be mounted in the SSD adapter, one on top and another on the other side of it, if u take a closer look at it u can see mounting holes for it on the adapter

  • if you bump the case too much it allows for easy access to the one side panel :P

  • HOW BIG is that thing omg ......

  • Haf 932 blue edition is so much cooler, blue LED's for all fans which are clear plastic

  • Aren't there 3x120mm fan in top like in the original (1 hidden in the front of the top)?

  • All Black case that is cool Love it... If I wanted dis-enable the power button for kids or other people won't turn the PC off by mistake can I do that....

  • This is a really good case, have it my self

  • 'it actually solids right up' LOL

  • no usb 3 =(

  • 6:40 - including themself lol. Should have included that in my HAF X...As my Cooler Master GX 650 watt have stupid short cables not able to go on the back and then in. So they're not going above the GPUs.

  • is CM Haf 932 Advanced and CM Haf 932 Black Edition different?? if yes, what is the differences?

  • @razercreeds window.

  • 1:50 I think you're wrong, that case supports a triple radiator on the top but to fit it you have to lift the plastic cover on the front, actually that cover have some vents.

  • would this be good?

CPU: AMD Phenom II x6 3.3 GHz

    PSU: Corsair 850W

    RAM: Kingston ValueR. DDR3 1333MHz 8GB

    GPU: Sapphire 2gb 6950 crossfire

    Case: Cooler Master HAF 932

    Mobo: Asus crosshair iv formula?

  • @ThaBizit no, get a i5 2500k CPU. If in doubt ask on bit-tech forums.

  • @sponge12349 Why the i5 2600K? It does not have Hyper Threading so...? 6 Cores/6 threads vs 4 cores/4 threads AT THE SAME SPEEDS. Both are unlocked.

  • @ThaBizit I'd suggest waiting for Bulldozer. If you are not that patient, then that is a really good PC. Flsh the HD 6950s to 6970s, it's really easy, Linus made a video tutorial.

  • Cool case

  • That's the HAF 932 Advanced according to Cooler master website. The one that they call black edition has less features, it is pretty much like the standard HAF 932 but with black interior. Anyway, I really like Cooler Master cases.

  • Have that. Awesome case 2 DVD,fan controller, 3hdd and still tons of room

  • too much lighting I think. video seems blurry

  • no dust filter?? EPIC FAIL

  • @jhorickok

The case is awesome and well built regardless the dust filters.

Just buy a dust filter for $5 from new egg?

  • @honorship well, prebuilt dust filters is much better than aftermarket ones.. although u have the point

  • @jhorickok It wouldn't be high airflow if it had one.

  • @KTCRITCH then explain why does the HAF X have dust filters

  • @jhorickok The HAF X is irrelevant. I was explaining that the Black Edition model wouldn't be High airflow with dust filters. The HAF X has better cooling, hence why it has dust filters.

  • @jhorickok dust filters give you cancer... just saying

  • Pause At 3:20 Linus: " Yeh, Too much Drives "

  • Antec 1200 rapes it.

  • @bigpoppa1234

    your mama rapes you

  • @Scorpy226 lol

  • @bigpoppa1234 Fuck you.

  • 3:48 multi-opening side panels

  • Can i have it? ill test it out for you linus for some months... lol

  • this single SSD bay supports 2 drives

  • i hate it when they put the power/reset switch on the top.. :|

  • 3:48 - New feature: Self removing sidepannels

  • @PutDispenserHere loooooooooool

  • did you get a new cameraman or did you telling to shut up?

  • the intro fails.. he would have cut the flap on the front and back.. but when it opens its not cut at all

  • @askixx no one cares...-.-

  • @LazarRedDevil95 how would u kno ?

  • 0:57 where's linus?

  • Does it come with unlocked multipier?

  • The hole in the back plate doesn't line up with many of the 1155 chipset cooling mounts. It's annoyingly useless.

  • My Case!

  • the "trick" to the front fan/grill area linus is to pull it a bit harder at the bottom.

    love the haf cases

  • 3:49 auto drop feature

  • Can you send me the case...my case is pretty broken up..i wish im allowed to buy a new one..

  • This case support 3X120 mm RAD on top

  • Witch one should I take the HAF 932 or the HAF X??

    I can spend up to 200 $ on a case ;)

  • @Mrzocker24 haf 932

  • @Mrzocker24

    Definitely HAFX

  • 3:48 ROFL

  • @F1LLzor

Linus didn't look surprised, so I assume it's a pre-set help from the camera man?

  • @PorscheLieber Hes trying to cover it up ;)

  • 7:01 Cameragirl?

  • I never get this, who needs 5x5.25 slots?

  • Comment removed

  • @SurvTheAbst You typically store that information on harddrives, which are mounted in the 3.5" slots..

  • @perfectgyroscope

    You've never heard of a 5.5 to a 3.5 adapter? Lol!

  • @perfectgyroscope when i was in china, the movie pirates had 5 of them to burn 5 movies at the same time... it's called being efficient haha !

  • @perfectgyroscope ,

    i have 9x5.25 :D

  • @perfectgyroscope i use 4, cd/dvd drive, fan controller, and a dual bay reservoir

  • @perfectgyroscope your mum does

  • @perfectgyroscope Reservoir for custom water cooling loops, you need to put it somewhere.

  • @perfectgyroscope ppl with EK watercooling reservoir which uses 2x 5.25 slots and for the ppl with monitoring screens and/or fan controller in front of their case... and so on

  • @perfectgyroscope blue ray burner/standard dvd burner/2 slot fan controller lcd unit and then a 3.5 media card reader in one slot also.

  • @perfectgyroscope liquid cooling systems use alot of 5.25" bays for the res

  • @perfectgyroscope well... let's see: one 5.25" Floppy drive + one CD-ROM + one CD-RW + one DVD-ROM + one DVD-RW + one BD-ROM + one BD-RW = 7 drives.

In conclusion, for me, it's not enough.

BTW: Don't start hating on me, it is just a joke ;)

  • @perfectgyroscope maybe two optical drives... some fan controllers use those slots, and ppl who do music have equipment that fits in there too

  • @perfectgyroscope You do need 5.25" bays for cd drive(s), card readers, water cooling reservoirs, that's already 4/5 slots.

  • @perfectgyroscope Water cooling guys do. Something like dual bay Reservoir, one bay fan control, one blu-ray burner and one hot swap sad bay and that's what it takes to fill it up so fast

  • @perfectgyroscope you would be surprised how much stuff that uses those slots there is.

  • @perfectgyroscope i do blu ray drive, dvd combo drive, card reader bay, and 2 fancontrollers XD

  • @perfectgyroscope i need them. 1 for the blu ray drive, 2 for the double slot fan controller, and the other 2 for the other double slot media center

  • @perfectgyroscope 2 cd Drives, reservoir, fan Controller, and a hot swap bay.

  • @perfectgyroscope Sir, I do.

  • @perfectgyroscope I use all 18 5.25" bays on my lian li 343b (12xoptical, 6x tripple bay hotswap module...)

and before anyone asks, I do use all of them...

  • @perfectgyroscope

that is room for a waterpump.

  • @perfectgyroscope atleast you know you can put 2 or 3 in good places with space inbetween

  • @perfectgyroscope the dude who has:

    Dual Bay Resorvoir / Pump

    Fan Controller

    DVD Burner

    Blu-ray reader

  • @perfectgyroscope Perhaps someone who intends on installing a fan controller, dvd drive, bluray drive, hotswap caddy and a mediacard reader (or perhaps a res for a wc'ing loop). Just because you personally don't have a need for 5x5.25 slots (I couldn't use that many either) doesn't mean it's not worth having them their to cater to those who need them.

  • @perfectgyroscope PIMP's

  • @perfectgyroscope Well if you had the money to spend, you could put dual DVD or Blu-Ray burners in there, a dual bay fan controller, and a card reader. There are other things you could put in there as well, such as a specialized LCD Screen or a front bay volume nob for a sound card or something like that.

  • Comment removed

  • @perfectgyroscope

Now-a-days you would used that for watercooling reservoirs, i used it.. takes up 2 slots plus my DVD drive n BluRay drive, the last empty 5.25 is in between opticals an res.

  • @perfectgyroscope When you are watercooling, you might need it for bay reservoirs, pumps, fan controllers, and the obvious blue ray drives.

  • @perfectgyroscope fan controller, reservoir etc

  • @perfectgyroscope

People who don't got Steam?:P Able to start all their games without switching CD lol

  • @perfectgyroscope My water cooling reservoir uses up 2 5.25 bays and it needs 1 more bay to access the fill port. Then pop in a fan controller and a Blu-ray drive and that's 5x5.25 slots.

  • @perfectgyroscope Water cooling ?

  • @perfectgyroscope you could use them for hdd hotswap, fan controllers, dvd drives, etc

  • @perfectgyroscope If you wanted to use a liquid cooling bay reservoir that uses multiple 5.25" bays is my guess.

  • @perfectgyroscope Computer monitoring hardware. (1-3 slots) + drives

  • @perfectgyroscope

    I do :D

  • Comment removed

  • @perfectgyroscope Well me I guess, I have 4x 1TB HDD drives. It's so cheap why not

  • I always thought that those 3.5" adapters should be able to hold 2 2.5" drives. I think the space is definitely available

  • The haf X and Haf 932 had a baby

  • soo. i have this case and when hes like OH u can mount a fan in the air duct i was like... BULL SHIT and looked at mines and got a fan and im like AWWWW SHIT I CAN lololol... i like this case =) only thing i dont like is the Back window for the CPU is too small so i still have to take out my motherboard if i want to install a new cooler or something =/ suck

  • congralutations for your wedding!^^ I saw the ring :D

  • @tedbanana17 Yeah what do you think his "vacation" was for. Honeymoon bro.

  • ?? @ 1:45

  • No Front USB 3.0?!

  • @vinigretzky97 They added USB 3.0 on a new edition of the regular (classic) HAF 932 model.

  • @zver711 Good to know. But i would like to see it on the black edition, too, if it's at the standard edition!

  • @vinigretzky97 Why don't you e-mail or phone Cooler Master and voice your indignation :) You will find out (like I did) how much they appreciate and value a customer's input.

  • @zver711 Maybe if I plan to get a new case in the future. But I'm quite happy with my SilverStone Temjin TJ07 at the moment :D

  • @vinigretzky97 Oooh, that crap is expensive...

  • @zver711 crap?!!

  • @vinigretzky97 You know, crap, stuff, thing...

  • @zver711 Yeah, just joking :D

  • you can mount 3x 120mm fans on the top /360 rad

  • @Xtremepower21 Yup. 3x120mm fans.

  • haha kitty fur on his hat

  • I hope the USB's are upside down like they were on the original 932 xD

Plus, I've broke all 4 of mine...idk how either. :(

  • 3:48 So pro he can take off 2 side panels at once

  • that case has a LOT of plasic in it, and not much metal
