That's pretty nice. My buddy has those same 8"s and the box he has has two ports. I think it's tuned to 35hz, and it BANGS. I didn't think two 8" subs could do what they do. It's nice. And they're going for less than 50 dollars new online now. That's a bad ass deal for a pounding system.

thats a sweet box...im thinking of gettng couple of them re8...are they dual 4 ohm of dual 2 ohms? i've got a RF20001bd rockford amp which pumps out 2kw at 1ohms just wondering will that be too much for these 8"s?

They are dual 4. And you should get 4 of them RE8's. The 8's will take 600wrms each. And thanks about the compliment of the box. I have a new one in there now. If you need help with a design you can just message me and I can help you out.

@behnkecustoms Lol I wouldn't go over 350RMS with these. I got one powered by a US amps Xterminator XT-2000D proper wiring, proper gain, bassboost and all that set, 100% clean power and it starts to smell after around 350RMS power (measured by a digital multimeter at 2 ohm load 13.9 volts)

homie thats not an install. an install is a sub box that fits, and looks like it belongs there and everything fastened to the car securly.

First off who are you to tell me what an install is? Do you own your own Car Audio Shop? Are you a MECP Certified Installer? I didn't think so. And if you can look, obviously the sub box fits or else it wouldn't even fit in the car fuckin dipshit. So why don't you STFU and think before you talk.
