i think this story tells us that you dont need to follow a book to be close to God or be so obsessed with rules and passages and all that stuff. All you need is a personal relationship between yourself and God and thats it.
Well, what a nice perception - although it does not necessarily be the case, for being a human as everyone and doubting in his divinity in certain time frameworks as everybody else! :)
guys please believe in GOD. we all need him & this he used as an example to show us that he's alive n when we die we'll definetly go to meet him n tht can only b possible if we believe in him wen we r alive. so plz.!!
Yeah, I'll go and get an "education-" Preferibly in one of the secular humanist universities in your Great America-
I'm sorry, I love the Americans, but I am so happy I live in my Ignorant France-
and unfortunately, we French turned our back on the church, embraced secular humanism, communism and socialism, and it is all based upon Ego, atheism and SELF-
I need the education; right?
I am writing to you in Englsh!! although not perfect, I bet YOU can't speak one word of French!!!
Was there truly a polio epidemic in Detroit in 1935? I did a search online and I couldn't find any info. What's really striking about this story is how the disease completely ignored class -- striking down rich and poor with equality. Great episode.
@jposh707 "What is really striking about this story is how the disease completely ignored class--striking down rich adn poor with equality"
If that is all you got out of this, I will pray for you. You see, I know communism, and unlike natural diseases, such as cancer, small pox, polio--Communism is a man-made disease, and to use your Phrase: "Striking down rich and poor with equality-"
@poitrenaud What I wrote has nothing to do with communism. And no, I'm not in a union, not that it's any of your business. Do us all a favor and get an education before you post any more ignorant comments.
Nothing short of incredible.
