@traxxasrc97 I was using a Feigao 8Xl motor with a cheapo Hobbyking 100a esc. I was running it on 4s.

really love this whole idea... honestly ? i thought this was some sort of rare traxxas model that was never released and you got your hands on it... but yeah this is an awesome buggy.... have you tried emailing traxxas about it ? they might even consider mass producing this model and you get the ching ching

Even though it seems much more likely that Traxxas would make a Version of UltimateRC's BackSlash, Your "Evo8", which looks the Biz and is, at least, large part Revo, IS what Traxxas should make for their next all-new RC. A Dead Serious 1/8 EP buggy.

@UUFAILL I'm sorry that you can't recognize that this buggy is special..its not just a slash or slayer with a buggy body and tires on it.. I made a custom aluminum chassis for it and implemented 1/8th buggy parts on it.. to make it Traxxas's first 1/8th buggy. I posted links to pictures of it with out the body on so you can see its different in the description.
