@MrNoblezmano79 I think it was to show a contrast. the first group (BAD friends aka TEMPTATION) came to see him (chased him down) and he wasn't happy to see them. the guy in the car is somebody he called on (chased down), a GOOD friend aka ENCOURAGEMENT that he was happy to see...a good friend instead of the bad friends he didn't want any parts of. it's about being around good examples who have your best interest at heart and help you stay strong, stay positive, avoid evil and do what's right.
