5 times doesn't mean shit..u can be deployed to a base like camp dywer which has pizza hut, McDonald , a real deployment is actually fighting...dog iv been deployed 3 times..Iraq and 2x Afghanistan i know how the system works....when u have enough time to put on makeup for a camera ur a p.o.g every one of them was in regular cammies haha thats jokes in itself..as grunts u dont wear reg cammies u wear FROG suits..take it easy

haha thats funny.My husband got to call me every day on skype,but he was convoy security.Yeah he was a 'pog' I guess,but he was out of the wire daily.Miles outside,and I worried about him every single day.You say I worried for nothing,stayed up all night until I got that confirmation he got back from his mission ok?that his deployment didn't mean shit?I call BS. But according to your logic, If I joined as a door gunner, or EOD (depending on the branch) It wouldn't matter because I wan't on the ground fighting in the traditional sense?Or If i got sent to a bigger base, that automatically means there is not danger there? If you have tattoos before you join, You can get waivers for them.

There are waivers for anything. Just depends on what the recruiter is willing to do. A Marine @ a previous unit got a waiver for no HS diploma and no GED, which isn't supposed to be able to be done. Every recruiter will tell you something different. Just depends on who you get.
