  • I think it's relatively clear, the video poster doesn't give a fuck who made the song. just let it go.

  • dont care if it's surfaris or the beach boys it's a chill song dude just listen and joy it

  • OHRAH, Marine Corps!!!

  • /watch?v=NONnUBKcNZI

Can you hear it. She took this melody. That isn't good.

  • .....

  • Classic tune but a resounding "OUCH" on the artist. The version the Beach Boys did was with The Fat Boys in the early 90's and bore very litle resemblence to this Surfaris classic. Suggest you go in and edit the title and artist to correct the error.

  • yeah i like this song, but the venture made it epic!

  • Delete and re-post properly. You look like a jackass

  • actually the beach boys did do a rendition of wipeout, however this is still the surfaris. and i think the surfaris did it better than the ventures really

  • This is definitely the original Sufaris' recording of Wipeout. Yes, I do somehow agree that The Ventures came out with a more fiery recording though!!!!

  • Drummer for BB's early on was a brother of the BB's leader and could not even hold the sticks properly.

    Not even a nice try.

  • not the beach boys.

  • Definately the Sufaris. I was there. Wipe Out was one of the first songs I learned to play on the guitar when I was 13. It is NOT the Beach Boys who NEVER covered the song.

  • I don't know who you are but you have posted so many songs "BY" the Beach Boys that they never did... and for you folks that commented that the Ventures did it better, this is the Ventures!

  • Ventures do it better

  • haha wipeout

  • 64 people have been wipeouted

  • This is awesome I've only before heard the version with the Fatboys but this is also good too

  • The Ventures only

  • mike love had nothing to do with this one.

  • i can do this on electric bass :)

  • Sorry didn't mean to hit the Flag button..Great Song! Thanks for sharing this! I better turn it down, my neighbors gonna call the cops!

  • @Javier23gol Not true. I have this song on a Beach Boys CD. Not hip hop and doesn't feature vocals.

  • wow some people dont know there music.... try the "safris"

  • @1fast10

It's actually "Surfaris". Still, at least you didn't say Beach Boys. :)

  • This is not the beach boys

  • This is the Surfaris, not the Beach Boys.

  • Agreed, this is the Surfaris.

  • @RayBeckerman

Exactly. So why hasn't whitegp2008 changed it?

  • 63 ppl got wiped out.

  • SURFARIS NOT BEACH BOYS

  • @7734Duke ....r-i-g-h-t .

  • Pipeline is a better song.

  • This is the Surfaris version, The Beach Boys version is a hip hop style that features vocals

  • @Javier23gol ....somebody got it wrong .Have'nt heard " The BeachBoys " version.

  • @nvr2tallluvr Yes and The Beach Boys versions is ft. The Fat Boys

  • Its hard for me to find this song

  • ¡TE VOY A MATAR LENTA Y DOLOROSAMENTE!

  • NOT THE BEACH BOYS!....HELLLLOOOOOO........

  • Comment removed

  • This is not the Beach Boys version of Wipeout.

This version is done by the Surfaris. (Surf's up with the Surfaris.)

All though, there is the real Beach Boys version of Wipeout that is instrumental, and done by the Beach Boys themselves from the 60s.

The 80s version of Wipeout was done by the FAT boys & the Beach Boys.

  • Google > eheheheheh WIPE OUT says ONEWHITEDUCK :-)

we used to have this DRUMMER who was MARTIAL ARTS EXPERT ASS HOLE and uhhh Dicky Christiano could PICK UP A GUY TWICE HIS SIZE and 3 X's his wait ... AND SPIN HIM AROUND LIKE A BATON and SET HIM DOWN without HURTING HIM ... THEN HE'D SAY ... YA KNOW i haven't DROPPED ANYBODY LATELY but IF YA REALLY WANT TO FIGHT ME ... THE NEXT TIME I PICK U UP ... I JUST MIGHT DROP U

GOOGLE > HAVE YOU BEEN DROPPED LATELY HILLARY says ONEWHITEDUCK :-)

  • hahahahaha wipout

  • Anybody knows that this is the FATboys.

  • 57 people wiped-out.

  • Hey whitegp2008.....haven't gotten the message yet? That this is NOT the Beach Boys?

  • What if you automatically did the laugh and the "wipeout" part every single time you came?

  • best song ever

  • I remember when this song came on at the roller rink, yes that was before roller blades, the guys would skate like crazy fast to this one. One of the best rhythm songs around

  • The Ventures did it better.

  • @jimscjcobra Steve Moore ("The Mad Drummer" from Rick K. And The Allnighters) does a good job as well ;)

  • @VfxGodOfDK i thought they did a really bad job of that song. they tried to overplay it and put on too much of a show and butchered the song

  • @jimscjcobra that's your opinion and you are entitled to it but between the Ventures, the Safaris, and the Beach Boys....I believe the beach boys have the beat and tempo nailed much better!

  • @jimscjcobra the venture version the drum solos sucked

  • that laugh at the begining is awsome but creepy

  • change the name to the Surfaris!

    youtube.com/watch?v=Xv24N8H1KyI

  • Holy hell people are retarded.

THE SONG ISN'T CREDITED TO THE BEACH BOYS YOU DIPSHITS.

Look underneath the description, it says The Surfaris, it was just redone by the Beach Boys.

  • I'm doing my tap dance to this :D ♥

  • the Beach Boys were knows for stealing other ppls songs just ask chuck berry

  • Obviously, The Surfari's

  • the sufaris sung it first the beach boys make it better

  • dumbass beachboys didnt make this the surfaris

  • cool......

  • love it

  • I think the Ventures did a great job of this also!

  • @mpm111144 yeah, I thought it was the ventures.

  • Maybe it's Simon and Garfunkle with Ringo Starr at the drums.

  • Total classic.

  • Sounds like the Surfari's version?? Am I wrong?.

  • I can top that.

Er I thought it was the Mamas and Papas.

  • I 'd like it played at my funeral

  • @pluggerization deffinetley

  • @pluggerization ...That's " The Surfaris " ...I'm sure.

  • wow. who cares? it doesnt matter.

"the beach boys didnt do this! the surfaris did! >:(" it doesnt matter.

  • Yeah!! Not The Beach Boy's song !

  • Definitely the Surfaris ..... from '65' or '66 NOT THE BEACHBUMS!!!!!

  • これは誰が聞いてもサファリーズだな。どこで間違えたのかな?

  • It's Buch Cherry!

  • This is by The Surfaris not the Beach Boys lmfao lawl rofl wtf!!!

  • @koolflattop666 shut the fuck up

  • i can see how,but I would never do it

  • I listened to this about 10,000 times when I was a kid, and remember it being a faster tempo.

  • @hcabanski It's not the tempo, its the volume, this was uploaded with kinda low volume. Turn it up, I bet you'll notice the difference.

  • The Beach Boys didn't make this song. :(

  • this song is by The Surfaris and The Ventures not Beach Boys

  • @wiganlad2006 spot on kidda !!

  • no this song the ventures

  • @skaterryan6661 you nimrod its the Surfaris!!

  • defintly not the beach boys

  • they kinda DO look like the Beach boys

  • The reason people get it wrong, and think it's the Beach Boys, is 'cos a Beach Boys song was mixed into the Fat Boys cover of Wipeout in the 80s, and the single said it was Wipe Out by The Fat Boys and the Beach Boys - making a whole generation believe the beach boys wrote Wipe Out.

  • dennis wilson of the BB's could play this in a million years

  • HHHHHHHAAAAAAAA WIPEOUT!!!!!!!

  • Sorry, guy. This is not the Beach Boys. Try theSafaris

  • that is not the beach boys that is the surfaris

  • Das sind nicht die Beach Boys sondern The Surfaris.

These are not the Beach Boys, it´s the Surfaris

  • beach boys r cool but this song is bye the surfaris

  • Lab-Rat- Wipeout

  • theirs only one word its amazing

  • The Surfaris*. My bad.

  • It is The Sufaris.

  • we're this song in jazz band

  • i thought i was surfaris ? s:

  • @geeklykato this version yes it is by surfaris but the song is mad by The ventures

  • @jonabig The Surfaris did this song and the Ventures recorded it later....

  • ha ha the heavy metal of the 60s!!!! hell yeah!!!!

  • who cares its a great song and my band and i play ti myself

  • hehehehehehehehehehehehehehhehehehehhehehheheehehhehehehehehh!!!! wipe out...

  • WOW! This stupidity (the Beach Boys - ha ha ha...) is still up and running... Viva The Surfaris !!! :)

  • @PeterVonRock

The Beach Boys did Wipeout with the Fat Boys in 88 or so.

  • @PeterVonRock Actually this is The Beach Boys. The Fat Boys just sampled Wipeout from The Surfaris and got The Beach Boys to sing the backing vocals.

  • @PeterVonRock Calm.. the beach boys did a cover. thats why they say its by them.

  • I find it a bit unnerving that anyone would mistakenly credit this record to the Beach Boys. It is obviously the 1963 (and 1966) hit single by the Surfaris. No great surprise. That's common knowledge.

  • @MikeBlitzMag If its a cover (which the beach boys DID do) then the correct way to say this video would be: Wipeout instrumental: Made famous by: Beach Boys Music by: Surfaris.

  • @TacozzHD The Surfaris original wipes the floor with The Beach Boys lame version!!!

  • @PeterVonRock Hey man xD i never said whos was better

  • @MikeBlitzMag this is a higher key than the safaris. its the beach boys

  • The Ventures version was great though.

I guess the first person to ever play it would be the composer (apparently Morton Downey Jr.)

  • There was a later version done of this song that was done by both the Fat Boys and the Beach Boys. But this song was done by the Surfaris.

  • its the sufaris

  • surfaris

  • It's the Surfari's...you can tell by the one rim shot he does.

  • this actuallt a song of the Surfaris, it has beem versioned by everyone but the original is fromo the Surfaris and this one is also from the Surfaris!

  • actually the band that wrote this song was the ventures!!!!!!!!!!

  • No, look in wikipedia or something like that, the song was by the surfaris! I t was the B-side of their song "Surfer Joe", but the B-side was more successful.....

The Ventures play the song too, but the original was from the surfaris, with help of the producer Paul Buff and the Father of Guitar-Player Bob Beryhill

  • KiNgSpAdE00420, you must be foolish. This song has very unique technic and is played with skill. Espacially the drums, takes a lot of pratice to make everything go go well with the guitar. Don't forget this is a 150 bpm song, which makes it pretty hard playing the drums accordingly to fit this song.

  • are u mental? this is beach boys

  • No...the picture is of the Beach Boys...and they may have done this song ..everyone did this song at one point. But....It is the Safaris. Get your facts straight before posting.

  • Yea it is

  • TheMayormcca

Actully, this is a beach boys and they did spell it right! Idiot!!

  • This is not a Beach Boys Song. Duh. Also, the person up top didn't spell straight right.

  • get the facts streight
