You're quite young, but you've got good taste. Thanks , Johnny August.

This woman couldn't be more zombie-ish. I'm thinking a mannequin might have seemed more involved in the process.
I love this tune, tho. And Johnny has a great voice!

Yeah, Zombie Joan is always that way.
However, she's a sweet, giving girl.
When I made the !'st playback I saw
that she wasn't contributing, but she is
a size "O", and that fitted right in. Keely Smith used to do that with Louis Prima: always a poker face. I also have loved "Lean Baby"for years. Thanks, Johnny August.

Never heard this one, but I'm a jazz person, and I like it.

While I was in college, I remember Frank
singing this on the coffee shop juke box.

A bit removed?
ZJ is like, "Let's get this shit over, I wanna smoke."

You're absolutely right ! I had to move things as fast as possible, because
she had finished one smoke 5 minutes
before we started rehearsing. 5 minutes
is too much time in between ! Good to hear from you ! -- Johnny.
My Lean Baby takes me way back
to those great 1950's. Jazz was everywhere. Romantic singers,
wholesome movies, and tv shows
were easy to find. Miss it.

A cute tune, with a cool beat.
Zombie Joan is a perfect model-physically.Although she's so passive,
and maybe somwhere else, her presence
adds a lot to My Lean Baby.
