The only difference between WCW and WWF back then was that WWF began the merchandising side of wrestling with T shirts, action figures and having hollywood and music stars on their show. Hogan was good for the WWF. In reality Austin only had a 5-6yr run, also the Rock. Flair, Hogan, Austin then there's a drop off.

And as a life long Savage fan I can honestly say that when it comes to working a mic there was none better than the naicha boy. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Sting was great in the ring, there are many wrestlers I would put above him when it comes to mic ability though. I'm afraid those days are gone forever. I've said it for years, there is no spontaneity anymore. Their music plays before they even come to the ring, even on sneak attacks. Just makes it look extra scripted. It's all a bunch of over programmed, choreographed, juiced up guys that have no charisma (with a few exceptions) that have driven wrestling to the depths that is today.
